I created my own concept:
The O-Wing, the cockpit of an X-Wing attached to the hyperspace rings formerly used by Jedi Starfighters, although incapable of actual hyperspace travel due to the combination of the two. Instead, if can move slightly faster than the average fighter, but has less firepower and little to no shields, making it a good ship for hit-and-run missions, but useless in defensive situations.
??? What is you attached tie intercepted wings with guns on the ring and a tie heavy bomber bomb supply on the bottom for hit and run with defense and for fast bomb runs

Unfortunately, Uglies generally didn't have it where it counted, being slapped together. Mind you, a good tech could make one actually survivable if he had the parts, but not having parts was why these monstrosities were created in the first place :) Mind you, I love the concept and the designs, fun to play around with.
A sand interceptor. combines the course and rough sand with the firepower of a tie interceptor. and they just seem to be everywhere.

1:58 "Deathraven" made from two B-wings. "Back in the day", I had designed something similar, from two B-Wings, but I had chopped the longest "wing" (the "blade") off of each one, leaving only the four shorter wings and a single cockpit in the center. I called it an "H-Wing", for obvious reasons. I had the wings fold in towards the cockpit for landing. I wasn't the greatest artist, but I made a few pictures of it. Someone more talented was nice enough to make an animated (GIF) image of it rotating and the wings folding and unfolding, and a few other renders.
Where do I find the pictures if you have them because that sounds cool

I'm actually impressed by whoever was able to build these. It's like building a working airplane out of stuff found in a junkyard. Also while using only tools you can find in a garage or garden shed.

Here's and interesting idea
Take an Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor and replace its normal S-foils with the wings of a TIE Interceptor. The TIE wings still retain their ability to open and close like the old S-foils did, while greatly adding to the firepower and possibly the agility of the fighter.
I dare someone to recreate all of these with Lego.

The death star with 4 star destroyers as wings... 2 on top, 2 on bottom.
How about a Y-wing engine with a TIE fighter cockpit strapped on one side, and a TIE Bomber bomb bay for bombing capabilities on the other, with TIE interceptor wings positioned one on top and one underneath the engine, for firepower.

The Deathseed was a highly effective dogfigher with the agility of a TIE Fighter and laser armament, shields, and hyperspace travel abilities of an X-Wing.
The TIE Clutch had shields, an ion cannon, and maneuverability to go toe-to-toe with the T-65 X-Wing.
Uglies, that are kind of cool but I would call some of them flying death traps.
The Lego Freemakers cartoon, which I believe is cannon(ish), uses the term "uglies" to describe cobbled together ships.

@@CaliPepper it would land on it's butt like the Slave I. You'd probably have to stick a few extra repulsors onto the ship and a ladder leading down from the cockpit to the floor but I'm fairly sure that would be doable quite easily - if room is an issue you could just remove some torpedo tubes or two of the S-foils, that thing is going to have the firepower of a cruiser anyway, so it can spare a few guns (seriously, it would outclass even the K-wing).
@@SerafineSilverstream other than landing, all that ordnance and armor will take manuverability away. Making it essentially a heavy bomber. Dogfighting would be out of the question unless you can engage targets beyond visual range. I'd stick with two B-wing chassis. That way you have a balance between firepower and maneuverability.
@@chrismc410 The B-Wing is a fairly maneuverable craft and pretty much a bomber anyway. With the four B-Wings you'd also get the engines of four B-Wings, so it wouldn't be any less maneuverable than a normal B-Wing (actually if anything it would be MORE maneuverable as it has a higher power-to-weight ratio due to having 4 times the engine power but only 1/4th of the cockpit and life support, although I doubt this has much of a weight impact overall), plus you'd get the power generators and the shields of 4 B-Wings which would probably give it the shield strength of a small capital ship as well. Seriously, that thing would be ludicrously tough.
The biggest issue is probably that it'd be expensive as hell (basically the cost of four B-Wings) and there's likely a lot of ship hangars that couldn't even store this monstrosity.

I really like the look of the Z-Ceptor. It looks like two ships more homogeneously combined together, rather than just a wing or cockpit set slapped on a different fuselage. The Ceptor also looks really short and stubby, as if you could jam more of them into a hangar bay.

In one of the recent maps of battle front 2 I saw what seems to be a pure white version of the slave 1 by what i could tell it hadn’t been there for long and was near a resistance outpost however somewhat covered with a tarp if I remember correctly (I could be wrong who knows)

My problem with using AT-AT or AT- ST cockpits on a star fighter is that starfighter cockpits need to be air tight while land based units do not. So more modification then it was worth would have to be made to make them serviceable. Also a the Cannons from a AT-AT would never work properly on a starfighter. There's simply not enough room for the large power supply required to fire them let alone room for everything else required to make a functional fighter. A corvette on the other hand would work but you would still have to solve the problem of the AT-AT cockpit not being airtight.
To keep the cost of production low, the TIE fighter is unpressurized so pilots needed to wear a pressure suit. I'd imagine someone flying a vehicle like that would have to wear one as well.

ATST (All Terrain Scout Transport) body with 2 Tie wings (one on the top and one on the bottom) and legs replaced with tracking devices and giant cannons with thrusters at the back.
All Type Space Tracker means it tracked all types of space craft in space.

A custom star fighter would be more like a modified version of an existing star fighter. Considering what those uglies look like, I can already tell why they were called that way.

At 4:56 one of the ships in the background (top ship below Poe’s bottom wings ) when Poe is getting chased looks like an A-wing Whith V-wing wings so I think the name should be the AV experimental intercepter.
The last one, the TIE-fighter with three X-wing wings shall be called “The Mercedes”.

1) McDonnell XF-85 Goblin w/ Y-Wing sensor dome instead of air inlet, 4x Tie Fighter Ls-1 laser cannons in nose, Z-95 engines at wing roots w/ folding (up for landing) Arc-170 main wings (minus S foils)... HobGoblin. Mainly used for fleet/ship/base defense but can do limited medium range scouting with added hyperdrive.
2) Naboo N-1 w/ Y-wing engines and hard points for additional missile pods (1/wing) ... Y Not
3) SA-43 'Hammerhead' outfitted with Z-95 engines, 2x Tie Fighter Ls-1 laser cannons on a sub-nose gimbal-mount, Y-Wing ion cannons dual mounted in an aft turret, 6 x hardpoints for fuel tanks or missile pods ... Star Shark
4) Deathseed w/o spinning wings, additional maneuvering jets, 2 concussion missile launchers in place of Tie chin cannons ... Aurora

I came up with the "Taurus class frigate", which is basically an ATAT with the cockpit of an ATTE from the old Republic, thrusters on the back, the wings from an Imperial Shuttle, and two AV-7 cannon barrels attached to either side of the cockpit. despite being relatively small, the Taurus can probably blow the bridge right off the back of a star destroyer because of the cannons. it can also carry an Arrowhead interceptor, which is an Aethersprite class jedi starfighter with podracer engines mounted on the back and a pair of Turbolaser guns mounted on the bottom.
Man, I remember having this micro fighter lego game on my iPad, basically you choose a micro fighter, and fly through a trench/canyon, and your wings get knocked off, and collect other pieces to fix them. I remember flying a Y silencer.
The All Ship, which has parts of all Tie fighters and all Rebel fighters. And don't you say it won't be effective because it all depends on the maker of the ship.

I just love Uglies and kitbashes. Some day I may try mating a couple of models together in a design not yet seen or imagined.
One idea I had was having the basic body of a Y- wing but with the S-foil system of an X Wing with the A-Wing's rotating blasters on either side of the Y- Wing head area which would basically retain the standard Y- Wing payload but with some additional speed and over killing firepower.
How does the Y-tie even fly? It just had the wings and the wings aren’t the engines
It just floats and shoots. XD
Since ion engines are so small as seen in a tie, maybe they just jammed them along the ‘wing’ section of the y wing
can u do a video on how Luke Skywalker faced Darth maul as a hologram during the new republic era I remember a comic that showed that.

X-Ceptor sounds and looks pretty cool for something that is taped together.
Looking at the AT cockpit, i recall a short fanfic about a Imperial ace that jumped by accident in a TIE Crawler and engaged the enemy in space, not only surviving but scoring kills while spinning uncontrollably.
