WHY I OFTEN DON'T MENTION OTHER BRANDS IN MY VIDEOS.
You may have noticed that I often don't mention the original brands that watches I am reviewing pay homage to. This is very intentional and not meant to offend you or the original brands. I lost my first channel in October 2020 which I had spent 9 months growing and invested a significant amount of money in simply because I had mentioned the original brands in some of my videos. There are people who try to use TH-cams lack of understanding when it comes to the difference between homage watches and fake watches to attack other channels and their owners and sadly I fell foul of this in 2020. This channel was also attacked recently and TH-cam deleted content simply because I had said 'subby homage' and 'Rolex homage' in two videos despite the watches in the videos being perfectly legal homage watches. Please understand that I can not afford to risk my channel so I will no longer be mentioning other brands when reviewing homage watches.

I completely agree with your top 3. I’m concerned that SM is starting to price itself out of its on niche market. My most recent SM purchase a Tiffany blue dial I wore 3 times at my office, basic daily dress watch. 2 bracelet pins randomly fell out. I only paid $151, but their prices have pushed past $250-$300 mark.
I've not ordered any San Martin, but all my steeldives are as good as any of my watches priced up to $400.00
I'd have ti see a san martin in person before I decide to switch to them.
The bb58 homage 3 hander is one of there best imo, still gets a lot of wrist time and I still enjoy it 👌🏻

Got some pretty amazing deals on 11.11. Picked up the san martin grand seiko alike with the wave dial for under £200 and the seestern titanium peli for about £160. Ordered this morning and both are already marked as shipped.

I only have 1 SM and it is the nicest one to get imo: the SN059. That blue mop dial is gorgeous and so is the case finishing.
I bought the 38mm ranger today for £160.64 today, I really like the look of it and like that the hour hand is different. That's my opinion though and we'd live in a boring world if we all had the same opinion

I just got the bronze san martin diver with the black MOP dial. I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone mention it.
I have been hit with tax and fees when importing anything for the last couple of years or so.
I much prefer paying up front to avoid extra fees and so I know the price beforehand.

Just bought my first ever San Martin and it's not on this list. Called a "6105 Turtle" although not a Willard, SN0068-G V2. I guess it's an older model? NH35 movement, bracelet cost me the equivalent of $123 US with all the discounts I could find. Thanks to guys like you on TH-cam I went nuts this sale. Take a look.
Does a SM sn007gx sound a good buy at around £160? I prefer smaller size watches. Why is any vat/tax not added to the watches over a certain value? Is it then luck as to whether it is then charged? Cheers.

Unexpected picks. Red bezel Black Bay is my favourite and after that MM300 and big pilot with hand wound movement.
To me, BEST SM IS hands down the grey/Orange combo SN-085G, out of stock for several months, even they doubled the original asking price

I've got the Pepsi gmt on the way. I think the other reason for the aluminium bezel insert is that it's true to the tudor original.
A sn029 was omitted, but it does have its points. I have this and good w/it, and even in the sale.

It's not as bad as you might think. I have worn it quite a lot and I have never had the thought enter my mind that i'm needing to look longer than normal to read it.
If only St Martin would sell extra loose links, often their watch bands are way too short for normal European wrists... Hobbit sized...Have one of their watches, great watch. San Martin SN0107 Ranger. Had to beg for a link from fiends etc.. How hard can it be...sell loose links and watch bands St Martin.
Have you bought from the official store and then asked them for extra links because I've been told by viewers they are always happy to include extra. You may find other store not doing that because they don't have spare links but I think the official store does...
What size wrist would it fit? How big is your wrist?
I just bought the sm 53' homage, and now I'm having second thoughts... I really liked the sm 62mas homage, but I'm afraid of the male endlinks.
That or the new gs homage, but it was like $80 more and I was afraid I wouldn't like the bracelet.

9" I thought I was up there at 8.1"!! You're dead right, I don't think some of the Chinese firms understand the wrist sizes in Europe can be bigger.
9" wrist is "average" in Europe? That's rather large. I had the average EU/NA wrist pegged somewhere between 6.5”-7.5”. Mine's just under 7" and it's larger than any of my coworkers.

Id suggest san marton learn how to take the sharp edges off their watches. I have two off this list and they are both uncomfortably sharp and the screw down crowns feel cheap and nasty.
