I have watched plenty of these kind of vids and this is most definitely the best one yet. Really nice quality recording from your camera and your riding is excellent. You are very fast and safe around the other riders. Top marks to you Ant. 👍
Very lucky guys. This is a great quality video. Your riding is very good and looks safe going into corners at a good speed. I've seen a few at Cadwell come off at the hairpin. Looking forward to Cadwell when we are allowed out to play again, although its Novice group for me lol. Far from that kind of speed and skill. cheers
I'm lucky and I live down the road from cadwell. Big bike next year and a few track days I think here. Awesome lines through the corners apart from tbe bsb riders the best I've seen so far. My brother in law has a gsxr1000 track bike and even Ryan doesn't go like that. Lol
The problem is that inters gets booked up fairly quick and if you go in novice group with me and your just miles too fast for that group they kick you off cos it's dangerous so you either be slow ish in fast group or spectate
@@mrgreen9388 to be fair, they don’t need a transponder to see that they booked into the wrong group. I use no limits and MSV and neither use transponders on track days?
The disparity of speed in this group is not only frightening but dangerous. Some of those riders were dropping ancor mid-corner and almost got run-up on. Crossed up body position, what a shit show! I don’t think they belonged in an intermediate group, much less in an advanced/fast one. Good riding on the camera bike. Clean lines and smooth. You can see how he was picking up speed every lap especially in some of the fast corners. Well done.
I guess its hard to monitor the groups pace. Anyone higher than 1.50 laps should think about going down a group. I did my first ever trackday here and managed approx 2.00-2.05 and was VERY courteous in the bends due to being a novice.
__dean__ __dean__ I totally agree. I got down to the 1:45 mark before considering moving into the fast group. Even then I found some far slower riders that must have booked into the fast group for no other reason than to massage their own egos. I nearly ran into the back of one as seen in my video.
I know I’m not the quickest but was amazed with some riders in the group, when watching from the side there we’re faster riders in the intermediates. Lol
Ant Cutler I’ve never understood why the groups aren’t divided by lap times not riders own opinions on their ability - would be so much safer all round.
@@cutty31 Just found this video and I dont know how your insurance works in UK but here in South Africa we have requested the same thing, that rider groups be divided by minimum times. Problem is as soon as insurance companies hear timed event they pull all cover from the event. Whats weird is in the fast group, they watch us and if they feel you are too fast you are timed or one of the marshals tag on to you. If you go quicker than the clubmans A riders which on our track is 1:18 then you are told you are no longer welcome and should rather race.
@@cutty31 Oh and then you you can't exactly join clubmans either because you are already breaking out. So you go from track day rider to full blown Superbike class which is absolutely scary as those guys go 8 seconds faster.
The cb 500 is at fault. They tell you in the briefing that It’s the responsibility of the person wanting to pass to make it cleanly and with respect. It’s a track day not a race but people still get carried away.
Good effort that man!!! Subscribed to learn these tracks for my first full season with the track bike next year, you look like you know what you're doing 😁👍
If that was the fast group, I would hate to see the slow. Love Caldwell. Thanks for posting.
Cadwell
That’s what I was thinking. Thought it was the novice group😂 been there many times and that’s sloooooow!
And I only put myself in inters doing 1:47’s round here ! This is slow for fast group

You know somethings not right when you follow a diversion out in the fast group
Brilliant video, great quality and really helps learn the track, thanks 🙏
Hi, Thanks for the feedback, Glad you found it helpful. Stay safe.

Wow😍🏁 from philippines with love!
That was close one with the two riders, That could have been nasty!

That fast group is ridiculous, what are people thinking about when choosing which group to book on to? I’m not talking about you by the way...
Totally agree with you a proper mixed group of abilities. There were faster boys in the intermediate class.

Totally agree with you. Some terrible riding in this group. People need to leave their ego at the gate and drop a few groups.
@@Lee-pt8pk problem is no Limits don't use transponders on their track days only for racing.

ooooopssss, nice looking CB500 that! 😂
Tom Nicholls Racing #155 😂😂dealt with at the first corner so you could enjoy the rest of the lap
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Everybody gangsta in a straight line

My neck got a good workout throughout this video!
Most of those should have been in the inters at best !!!!!!
90% of them should been in lower group 🙈
Nice riding.

First day I had at Cadwell come at £6
This is the fast group? The intermediates must have looked like On The Buses...

I couldn’t agreed with you more, all track days should be Chronometry and lap times should then be stored on a data base for future reference.

I'd love to be this quick!
I wish I could be faster!!!
very nice
Are you sure your in the fast group here...? You've not snuck out wi the Harley rider have ya? Love Cadwell, Thanks for sharing.
Looks like C group....
check out my vid on R1 martin cockings bedford autodrome
Who's at fault there? Interested in people's opinions. I'm new to track days and firmly in the novices for a while yet lol
Hi, Sorry for the late reply, A really tough one to call but glad the both stayed upright. Safe riding.
The rider who ended up in the grass seemed to take an unusual line
Richard McNab cb 500 it’s the first lap give people some room

Cb riders at fault if you’re sticking to track day rules but the other guy took an eccentric line for how fast he was going 😂
Cb500 rats
Jesus what a shit show!! Did the guy who got punted off keep it upright?
Yes buddy he did manage to keep it upright, and yes it was a shit show. Lol

Cheers Mark, I’m still learning myself and good luck with the track days next year. 👍
