  • The video highlights common problem that arises from the incorrect installation of intake manifold flaps.
The incorrect installation triggers P2006 & P2007, intake manifold flap stuck closed. The same fault codes are also triggered if the intake manifold flap actuator malfunctions. The malfunction could be due to vacuum leaks, electrical fault or mechanical damage.
Always ensure that the flaps are moving by physically moving them via the flaps actuator before torquing the intake manifolds' bolts and nuts.

the METAL DIVIDER is likely installed wrongly. flip it the other way so that the flap will stop at it than BEFORE it as the vacuum from the actuator is supposed to stop at the precise position than before it. it springs over if made to stop earlier and ended up over and above the divider. theres another youtuber video who showed this divider position. it happened to mine which the flap pops over for both and pops out if divider stops the flap earlier.
    p2006 p2007 together.

Hello, i got these 2 codes that came up and i have not removed the supercharger, take or done any work to the vehicle. What would you suppose it be?

      Hi George either:
      1. One or both flap actuator(s) for each bank is mechanically malfunctioning. The malfunction could be due to a broken actuator arm or torn internal diphram of the actuator.
      Or,
      2. It could be a vacuum leak. Ensure all vacuum pipes to and fro the flap actuators are not broken or obstructed. The flaps' movement is vacuum driven. A vacuum leak means the flaps do not function properly.
      3. It could also be the vacuum solenoid(s) that are worn out. The solenoids determines how much vacuum is required for the flaps to open to a certain angle.
Lastly, it could be due to excessive carbon build around the intake manifold ports, thus restricting the flap movement.

Hi, I’ve replaced my entire intake manifold & I’m still getting P2007 BANK 2 stuck closed. Any ideas pls??
(ordering new intake runner sensor, hopefully it helps remove code) **UPDATE: Replacing all sensors removed check engine light & corrected all issues

Did ypu clean the part that belongd to the block engine, if not, you have to clean it and then engine light is gonna go off

REMOVA OS FLAPS DEFINITIVAMENTE , SEU CARRO FICARÁ MELHOR E MAIS FORTE , NÃO APRESENTARÁ ERROS E NEM FALHAS . FLAPS SÃO APENAS PARA CONFORTO EM BAIXA VELOCIDADE
