- Something about steel wheels on steel tracks that's always fascinated me.
A camera fixed under a metre gauge train to capture the amazing wheel-rail interaction of the wheels clicking onto the rails.

Cool to see self-centering force of wheels set in action. Esspecialy how it is oscilating and getting out and returning to balance.
Finally a long enough vid
yea
kudos to the cameraman who films this while in the floor, thankyou.
Great video like!
I like train wheel view
The most amazing thing is how still you held the camera while running so fast to keep up with the locomotive! Outstanding! 😂😂
He just set the camera
@@first2129 u know its sarcasm right?
@@RealistInIdealists817@leonk3442 right?👀
The fact that camera is so low means that he actually had to crawl at that speed. Which is even more impressive
This is creating illustration that train is going in which direction 😂
I love your your creative useful relaxed mind
As the flange gets closer to the inside of the rail the wheel and track radius design lift the wheel off the tread area. This is overcome by gravity pulling the wheel back down onto the tread area which keeps the wheels centered on straight rail.
I enjoyed video
Satisfying
I like this sound ❤️🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️
I just love everything about this video :)
Woow. The best HIGH SPEED Train video RECORDING.❤❤
21:41 Did you use an external microphone to record the sound? Because it is beautiful to clearly hear the sound of the Towing Electric motor. NO WIND NOISE. Fortunately. Did you record this video with a GO PRO camera? Thank you in advance for your help.
I like to enjoy such type of video also I enjoy such type of videos daily routine basis as it gives me much pleasure by avoiding unnecessary mental agony . Thanks for sharing
I like the part that wheel is spinning
same
It sounds like a class 377
33:08 why the flange not touching the rail?
Ooooh uh my head shake when I look on ground😅😵💫
Which train is this? From which station to which station? Which Country? Looks like South East England
12:05 to see how flange tries to touch gauge side of the rail
Which camera you had used and how you mounted the camera?
@20:02 WHATS THAT WHITE COLOR THING AFTER BRAKING TRAIN ? AND WHY ?
EDIT: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO.. I ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE THIS CLOSE SINCE CHILDHOOD. FINALLY INNER PEACE.
Its sand or salt. It is used to prevent wheel slips.
@@dareeldjbigz INDIA has World's Largest Rail Network, but it doesn't use this sand/salt, and funny thing is that wheel never slips :P
is this london overground?
is this is class 357?
Is the first train a 375
How are you holding on? 😮
Can't it just slide off the tracks i mean like
The wheels are slightly tapered, being wider on the inside which helps keep the wheels centered on the track, but if it still shifts over too much the flange will stop it.
The balls on the cameraman to stick his head under the train for this long
Patri services kaizan no sound when patri chenege
brazy how the camera makes it look like the train is moving the opposite direction
I'll never get close to train in motion ever again after seeing this. I know this isn't in real time, but it just shows how dangerous they really are
Is this the Melbourne train
I like the part where the wheel rolled down the track.
