Whatever is the equivalent of Turkish OSHA really has to make sure these guys dont shorten these lifespans by contamination. In north america, we may not completely comply, but at least we wear respirators if we're near airborne carcinogens all day, like when dealing with rubber particulate.
Yeah thats not America and not even Europe. They dont give a fuck about safety
💪💪😭😭
Very well shot and edited. Beautiful film.
Someone should send these guys eye protection.
And P2 masks, and hearning protectoin, and a safety shutoff bar for that rolling machine!
It’s Turkey, they don’t value common sense protection
And a respirator.
Presumably if its just for tractors this should be 'safe enough'? I mean low speed travel on public roads and mainly on farms?
No. These are used very very widely by almost every single major logistics company. These tires are the cause for hundreds of millions of dollars of damage to vehicles yearly.
@@IOWNA11No thats not true, the dont go on cars
@@Aluja77 I didn't say they did. They're put on trucks and fall apart by the thousands every single day resulting in road debris or when they blow up they strike passing motorists... They need to be banned.
@@IOWNA11exactly retreads are very dangerous as you can see when they grind straight down to the wires on the inside along with tread being held on by adhesive fun fact my uncles first time dying was due to a retread steer tire on his semi n it blew with a fully loaded dump trailer for trash
Need face masks or respirators.
The one dude smoking a cigarette and then grinding the tread off a tire with no mask was unbelievable to witness. He's being exploited.

Amazing
There are amazingly a lot of recapped tires all over the interstate highways.
You can get retreads in the UK but they're only common for heavy goods vehicles.
Driving across Australia back in the day the highways were littered with 'snakes', the torn off retread strips from trucks and cars. Hit a few while driving at night. Never bought retreads after that experience.

safety culture in middle eastern countries is generally considered to be “up to god”. if you wear PPE you’re judged to be a sloppy worker who needs to be protected from his mistakes, regardless of environmental conditions like rubber fumes and particulates being impossible to avoid.
don’t forget the actual financial burden of the owners of these companies spending maybe a tenth of their monthly profits on respirators for their employees once in a while; imagine how long they’d have to wait for that third yacht instead.

retreading tires is what causes those truck tires to fall apart into a million pieces on the highway

Retreads cause more damage and wrecks than do new tires. At night, beware of sparks under a semi truck. It is a sign that a tire is about to come apart.

hmm some of the metal cords within the tire looked severed... problem?
nope, we sever cords intentionally even and cover them up with glue and remoulded rubber ontop no biggie it will not affect the structural integrity at all we promises pinky swear.
German TÜV (Technical Inspection Association) says NO.
Watching this, I think I am coming to understand the industry. Retreads are only 50 bucks a tire and you need to buy new tires every 10,000 miles. I can see now how they are designing them to have short lives and thus, sell a lot of tires fast.
God, the rubber particles are massive in the air and those guys aren't wearing any masks. Eyes, ear prortection aren't nowhere to be seen either. When I watch this kind of 3rd world job, I feel so lucky to be able to have education and do the work safely and confortably from home.
USA has lots of used tires. If this is done who needs new tires. 😂
hard work but I may have gotten cancer just from watching this

those truck tires definitely kill a lot of people when they detread on the hwy or explode
Is this safe to use though?
They are not safe for high speed but safe enough for farm equipments and such.

New factory truck tires come apart too. I have worked on cases where new tires caused fatal wrecks. If the tire is made wrong it will come apart. If not it won't.
Indeed but not nearly as frequent as tires which are glued together.
@@danielmanly4793 I guess you don't know how rubber cement works😂
@@jfriar Natural or synthetic rubber is mixed with a volatile solvent to create a substance which, after evaporation of the solvent, is an adhesive.

@@jfriar If a tire is superior when patched why not make the entirety of the tire from the patch material? Moreover, we haven't had tube tires in many, many, generations in the USA as we have been running tubeless tires since the mid/late 20th century.

Retreaded tires are a joke! The roads are littered with scraps of blown tires! There is a reason why many States in the USA have outlawed them for use on steer tires as they are more prone to failure. Both experiences with a tire blow-out while operating a combination CMV have been with re-caps/retreads. Nothing like having glue, which is used for school craft projects, holding the truck/trailer to the road at 100k lbs!
With the right procedure and quality control, they are just as safe as new tyres. It is wrong that they are held with "glue" for "school craft projects". The new thread is bonded to the old casing through a vulcanisation process inside a special oven. You talk non-sense.
@@bellezayverdadhe’s more than likely blaming this problem on biden, i can guarantee you that much
Glue ain’t holding a tire together for a month on no matter what glue it is
@@bellezayverdad it's a figure of speech... Meaning those tires are shit. He was just being nice about it. And yes those running on a 200 degree blacktop get unvolcanized really quick.
This should be banned. These come apart every day while driving at speed and endangers other drivers. These can be seen splayed all over the sides of highways, after coming off the tires and hitting other cars. You should be ashamed of what you do, these are death traps.
