Thanks for watching!
nice looking square, but I think this watch needs positive display
The only negative display Casio should ever release again is the MIP display. 😬
Some of them do at the start of the video…
A positive display in black colour variant. And also , this watch should have interval timer too. Just like other bluetooth and step counter G shocks. Very useful @D3ZG1978
If it had one, I would have bought it instantly.
The green one isn't negative tho@@pathchampion
Oddly enough, Casio immediately released a “Casio version” the WS-B1000, which has exactly the same functionality except for one more button
It's like a Gshock "tank" design with Gshock "tank" durability. I absolutely love it. It's quite literally a modern "tank" in form and function.
It looks big on your wrist! On my 7 inch wrist it looks like a Baby-G. It's probably the only G-Shock that will fit under a cuff though, so I like it for that.
Love it! I’d add solar and vibration and remove bt. But it’s fantastic the way it is. I’ll buy grey and orange combo when it comes to stores in Croatia.
I thought just the same! I don't like "smart" features and prefer functional ones such as vibe alarm or solar battery on this kind of watches.
Oooh i am loving this one, loving the step counter, i hope they make a solar version of this
GA 2300-8A is my kind of wristwatch. I also think this GD-B500 has a lot going for it, an angular square face and different colour schemes.
The design and color are awesome. The feature is almost perfect (Bluetooth sucks) and the white elephant in the room is the negative display 🙄🤦🏻♂️
If only it comes with a positive display for the black color. I'll definitely buy it immediately. Overall, still an awesome G-Shock. Thanks for the review.
I bought one upon release and ended up sending it back. It's so cool watch with great features, but it ended up being too small for my taste
If you already have the GBX-100 or GBD-200, then this one definitely is a let down. Removing the amazing MIP display is a major draw back. And they still didn't add tough solar. I would have considered getting this if only tough solar was added.
If only this one also has MIP display
why are people so obsessed with solar lol. i hate it
@@SLOC1488 You hate not having to replace the battery for 10 to 20 years... Okay.
Online, it says it does have solar, though?
@@m3talc0re It doesn't have solar, that's probably a mistake or typo.
Terrific style and shape, plus perfect dimensions, but.............oh, that negative display.......... I'll buy when the MIP is finally installed.....................
I really loved this watch. I hv thin wrist and it is perfect for me. Soon Ill buy this.
Nicely done now if they could just release an all metal version I’d grab one up
I'm liking the look of this model. I can see more colourways droppings
Yes I'll have one of those, thanks Time Drops..!
Like the design, but it needs a modern display.
I have the GBD 200 with the MIP display, better design and there is no big difference in price.
tough solar and positive display
😮💨🔥
Tough solar and MIP display for me.
@@yelyl136 that will be goooood
When I saw your light leak at 1:39, I was reassured that the watch I received was not a defective watch. everyone is the same😂
Just bought it yesterday
The negative display makes the watch very stylish...it's like Batman stealth watch.
Very stylish nice
One nice feature I liked ablut this watch Is due to BT this watch always has accurate time
I bought 3 “G-Squads” - GBD 800, GBA 800 and GBD 200 - for less than $90 each and GBD 200 has legible MIP display. All these offer Step counter and BT. Not sure if I find a reason to buy this one for $120 !
I agree, I have the GBD 200 and is a great watch with MIP display, a great alternative to this ugly design.
This in tough solar would be awesome
Just need notifications and I'm in. Know that's not important to some folks but can always turn it off. If it's got Bluetooth anyway makes sense.
How would you display notifications on a standard numeric lcd??
There is the GBD 200 with the MIP display, with Bluetooth and notifications, the difference in the price is not that much., and the classic square design is better than this elongated case. If you have a smaller wrist the GBD 200 is a way better option.
If you haven't got one, I think you'll like the GBX-100 or GBD-200 if you care about that kind of stuff. It has a much better display and over all design. It's just a shame that it also doesn't have tough solar. It would have been great not to have to change batteries in about 10 years. I have the GBX-100NS-1 and yes I have that notifications feature off 😊
I’d set the step goal at “one step”,
that way I’ll feel Ike I’ve achieved something early on in the day.
I like it. Smart 🤝
For a thin G-Shock I prefer the GA-2100, but this one is a good alternative to the regular Square.
Yeah fair enough! Not sure the 2100 can be beaten for slim Gs! 😮💨
whats the diffrence between step tracker sensor of
new Gshock GD-B500 ,
GBA-900 ,
GBD-200
and
GG-B100 mudmaster???
please help me decide in buying
Can this tell me kilometers walked? Will it work were GPS, is blocked? Like inside a condo.
Tbh I quite like the negative display 👌🏼
You & me both! 🤝🔥
The color black is nice, with somewhat retro vibe but sadly, it doesn't appeal to me like other casio watches.
My next project is the mrg series.
Brit completely wrong in your video title, the thinnest G-Shock that has ever been is the 2006 "GW-056J" which I am holding in my hand this moment with my machinist caliber which measures "8mm" in thickness. By the way this GW-056j" is the rarest of all being the "Black Mic" with the printed embossed "Fly" on back cover and the Yellow Black Mic Flies on the strap!
My 1st impression was "meh".
Upon closer inspection, this model might be brilliant! Can't wait to try one on. Nice vid!
I think you were a little gentle on a G-Shock which should be able to take a much harder hit. This thing doesn't have the same MIP display as the 200 even
The casio ws2000h has all those features to except the BT funtion
I really really like that, there’s only 1 major negative that would stop me buying it full stop, can you guess what that is?? Yep, that awful negative display, who would possibly want to buy a negative display that you can’t see unless it’s bright light and a certain angle and you squint, I honestly don’t know why Casio still make them especially on a small display like that, you’d struggle so much to see it, positive or MIP and that’s it, negative 🤬
Students and ppl who work all day looking at bright screens. I love it, but if I want a positive display, I prefer an analog read. To each their own.
@@Nadinetherescuehound that’s just a ridiculous statement, nobody in their right mind no matter what they are doing would ever want a watch they can’t actually read.
@@pompeylad1977 there is a positive display version of this watch available... but the all black would not look good like that. i can read them negative display watches just fine lol
@@SLOC1488 there isn’t a normal positive only the luminous yellow one that’s not a normal positive.
What is the model number of the grey watch shown at 3:13 ?
I also want to know, what watch that is. Anyone know?
Does it pull your arm hair like the ga2100?
The recent 2 new watches, the GA 2300 and GD B500, are not impressive. Don't think they will stay for long.
Good looking watch
Looking nice 👍
I would like to see a Casio with Pay, like Apple Pay (Wallet )
If they upgrade it to an MIP display it would be and instant buy for me.
🤝
There is the GBD 200 with the MIP display, and all the functions. The difference in price is not that much, but it's better than this model.
@@fuloplehel i have the GBD 200 and i love it. but then again this GBD500 looks cool in white in my opinion for some summer days on the beach... i will get one
Bonito reloj Casio G-shock. 🤩🤩⌚️⌚️
I have a G-056. this new one is thinner? have a feeling mine is thinner
You sure it is thinner than the ga2100?
Yep!
Make it solar and give it a positive display and I'll buy it.
solar sucks... and there is grey one of this with a positive display
Is it solar atomic?
Nice one, but no. I don't like this negative dispaly and I also don't like colors that have a positive one. Shame.
I like it. Love my 5610 so not likely to get one just yet but do like the step counter.
Is there a version for females/smaller wrists?
Very nice watch !
Negative Display … well, why no MIP?
Just bought one. I thought the negative display would be as good as my protrek prg 110y. Nope. My 30ish eyes can't see shit on this watch indoors. Had to turn on the auto wrist light.
Is it coming with tough solar?
No this one is purely battery powered! Thanks for watching!
tough solar is so gay lol. why are people so obsessed with it? i thought it was cool when i was little kid maybe
After getting a GW-5000U, I don’t need any other G-Shock.
What about the giveaway? Has the winner already been announced?

@@TimeDrops_Thanks. Must have missed that info 😅
No me gustan los dígitos tan pequeños ❌👎🏼
Me quedo con mi GBX-100 😎👌🏼
"As you can see..." no, we can't. It's impossible to read that display.
😂🤝
does the stepcounter works without a phone connected
yeah of course
Better use MIP display
Nice
Wenn es schon kein Multiband 6 gibt dann wenigstens Solar und Positiv Display.
1) Make one with a positive display.
2) Get rid of the useless step counter.
3) Make the strap easily changeable.
Casio guys! Why I need to teach you such basic things? What is wrong with you people?!?
Casio Is the Nintendo of watches
Make it SOLAR and I'll get one
Bro forgot the thickness of Ga2100 😅
like this one.
to bad it isnt solar powered. All my 17 GShocks are Solar nd dont want non solar.
Don't like it, sorry
UGLY 😂 But nice review.
ga2100 is the thinnest g shock
compacked
Looks crap...
