Evaldas Vilkas when I first played as soon as I got lvl 30 I went into ranked and after a few weeks I got Plat... that was back during season two though so we were all kind of stupid. Nowadays you need to know a bit more to climb. Also some people just have a better aptitude for the kind of game it is.

asking questions and forcing the viewer to subconsciously answer it is a very effective way of teaching. Skill capped does it all the time.

Hey guys, I really like this video format but I think this video was way to easy compared to the jng one. I don't know I just felt like this one was more targeted towards low elo players while the jng had a little for everyone. The only one I answered even slightly different was the 2 VS 2 becuz I think it was possible to get a 2 for 0 if they played it slow and around the enemy cc abilities instead of forcing a much more likely 1 for 1 on panth and believing Lee wouldn't screw up on killing the 1 level higher Elise. I m a jng main not a mid laner, and I m not challenger. I just think this game was kinda straight forward in general without any really difficult decisions for Liss or questions. If possible I would like to ask you to maybe get some higher level questions in there mixed up with the others to help people who already learned all of the basics on ur other videos

To be honest, this video just tells you how to play properly in high elo. But nothing of that happens in diamond where it's complete chaos.

Not being rude but ur best bet to climb out of gold is just to stop playing azir . If you don’t believe me then just try malphite mid for a few games and watch zed and yasuo int their ass off trying to kill u and then u win .

Picking azir into those champs is pretty bad because they can easily dodge your wall and close the gap
Yukihira most yasuo in gold doesn’t know how to play the game and yasuo , they will just trade randomly . If you don’t try to force fight super hard It’s very easy to out trade an Yasuo with malphite and if you just don’t die as malphite then yasuo players will eventually int their self to 0-10 .

@@teemo8247 I'm talking about any knowledge I know. Not everything the video had. For me whether it's the even minion rule or idk a jungler's early-pathing based on where they started. I might know this, but in-game I just kind of forget it and can't use what I knew and apply it.
Remember that: watching a game is totally different from playing a game. Like literally not the same world
I play jungle but I got a majority of the questions right. I only missed 1
try to focus only on one thing at a time. For example think only about minions, or only try to track their jungler, or only try to focus on trades. That way, after 10-20 games you will become much better on what you chose to focus on, then focus on something else you need to work on and you will use your previous knowledge without thinking much of it. If you try to focus on everything at once you wont focus on anything at all

9:56 another reason you should stay is that there is minimal vision in the river/jungle to bot lane so if you follow you run the risk of getting 1v1’ed or even 2v1ed by Panth and Elise

Doinb called jgl to push, so she gets the exp and gold that she would of lost if she backed. Not just the current wave but the waves after instead of the wave crashing on her tower, it crashes on the enemies tower.
The idea to call for jng never crossed your mind because he wouldn't come in real game anyway

@@SCHIZOCYCLIC It's calling your jgl while your still in lane and to give you the last hit isn't something they'd do. Especially with the jgl changes, the jgl is losing more going to lane

I might know this knowledge, but applying it while in the middle of the game is hard. It's like the information just disappears when I get into game and I feel like I'm on autopilot just doing random things even if I want to tryhard.

That's because it's easier in general to see a larger picture when you're spectating compared to playing. You don't have to track what the panth is doing because you aren't actually playing into it so your brain can absorb the info on minions and the map easier

Same here. To be honest I don't really like playing ranked games because "life". Still surprised that I know mainly how the game works.
Skill capped has really helped me improve and understand the micros behind the game.
I have been playing league for 8 years but have been hard stuck in silver since s4.
Last year I focused more on improving myself, not on the champions I play but the way I play each champion.
This allowed me to understand the game better, all about reading the game and I can proudly said I ended last season in Plat 3 shooting up the ranks about 4 months after using the guides.
This year I started in silver from placements but have now pushed myself to diamond, the highest rank I have ever been.
I really feel the subscription to skill capped really made a difference for me and I am sure it will for you too.

Played as Syndra against a Zed in low silver mmr. By the 50th time I poked him with Q as he went for the last hit I thought he'd have learned. Most of the time I was 90% health while he was 40% and no pots. Still, jungler never ganked
Did something similar with DH Neeko.
Zed kept walking into range and get me strong.
@@Jay99420 as syndra main thats what i love about her, with a melee champ, i poke him so much that he can't get cs, when hes low enough i full combo him, he ends up 0/9 and so much behind on cs 🤣🤣. God i love this champ

2:13 I say that question is a tricky one. It might look like an even minion rule, but it's actually**not* due to Lissandra's siege minion being much more damaged that Pantheon's. The only reason it worked like an even minion rule is because Lissandra auto'd Pantheon, causing his minions to change agro to her, which, in turn, has pushed Pantheon's siege minion under the tower, nullifying it's health advantage. If I were that Lissandra, I would actually look for a freeze in that situation.
That Liss play in the early 2v2 was critical. That was the only question I got wrong, because I knew Panth had E up, but I didn't count on surprise factor netting a kill. Everything else was pretty easy after all the SC videos I've watched!

As i play mostly kassadin, i always take control of my lane so i answered almost everything correctly this video because i use the same concepts, so far i'm diamond with 70% winrate on kassadin, laning like this, very useful info to know

4:03 can she bait pantheon to poke her with Q or even fully engage as he doesnt have ignite and he wouldnt be able to kill her but funny thing that after pantheon hits her the enemy pantheon wave is going to pushes towards lissandra which will make her be able to freeze the wave
I'm just gonna write my answers to this because im curious and think its fun to have info like this out there
First question: pantheon has an exp lead from cs and some amount of exp I don't know from kills, so lissandra needs to preserve health and play safe to avoid getting fucked at level 2
Second: pushes towards pantheon
Third: really bad, about to get shit on by the red jungler. Did not consider pantheon will also have the advantage here by having more time to chase.
Fourth: kill minions. They need to die so the wave can go back to her and shes in a safer position. I don't know how much gold she has at this point but backing after is probably worthwhile for an early control ward and whatever lissandra builds
Fifth: playing towards top side of mid lane seems like an option but is too risky since even if elise ganks from bottom she only needs to land one cocoon and you die. You miss a wave if you die anyways, so backing seems like the best idea, and just accept you are going to miss a wave. I didn't consider asking for jungler help but that, like said, would definitely never work in my elo.
Sixth: ok here I don't know the best idea because I don't remember how lissandras kit works lol. I dont think she has CC until level 6. Fight seems hard lost though either way due to level advantage and elise being cracked early on, so kite away and maybe poke on pantheon will find a kill.
Seven: causes a slow push the opposite way
Eight: pantheon always ganks bottom here
Nine: shove mid. if bot dies then they die but these players seem good so I doubt they die to this heavily telegraphed roam. Farming CS and potentially denying a wave is a good way to catch back up
Ten: ok I know the right answer here is rotate bottom to farm while supp and adc farm mid since its a bit safer, but theres no way in hell that would actually happen in my games so play it by ear and respond to what her teammates do. If an aram fight breaks out and its winnable take the fight, if one breaks out and its not just go farm instead.
I got all the questions correct, but I still have trouble remembering it all when I actually play. At least it shows me I've gotten better at identifying wave states in my lane :)

The one I didn't get felt mid-lane specific and I only watch ADC/Supp.

I play diana who is also a lane bully my oppenent sometimes roam because they can't 1vs1 me if they do roam they lose thier tower, Diana can surprisingly take towers very fast because she gets AS buff. I always push wave into tower and taunt thier Jungler to camp me if the jungler camps me that's pressure of other lanes. Watching these videos helps me refine my play style.

Can you make a video about what to do during the mid to late game as a mage (or mid laner)? I'm hardstuck Plat 1 and hoping to get a blue perimeter enclosing my fictional character in this virtual game.
There's just one thing here that I think is arguable ; alright, wave 3 pushing away from Liss kinda sucks, BUT, on the pause timing, Elise hasn't shown yet, Lee is around mid and Liss is hovering his side of the map ; it would also be correct to call him on this wave as opposed to the next one, preventing the all-in we see Panth attempt from happening. In turn, it will reset the wave under tower as well, except you don't have to coinflip on whether Panth can burst you down, or take the 2V2 and rely on Lee outplaying with a level deficit at the start.

As a low diamond midlane main, I expected to get most of these correct. But it turns out that I still have plenty of things to learn.
When it comes to the questions, I got the minion wave questions right, but I messed up the ones that were about the other players. Also, keep in mind, that I'm an Aurelion Sol main, and I kinda answered these, as if I was playing him. Anyways, these were my results:
1 - correct
2 - correct
3 - incorrect (I'm always happy when I get pushes like this. It allows me to roam and/or setup vision. Also, most players with most champions wouldn't trade into that wave, and if they would, they would loose it.)
4 - correct
5 - incorrect (I never ever think about asking the jungler to help me push. It seems like a pretty unreliable solution tbh. They could either be clearing or ganking somewhere else, or they might just straight up refuse to help you. Either way, I would have recalled.)
6 - incorrect (That 1 for 1 seems pretty questionable to me, but Lee did end up killing Elise, so I guess it was worth it. I personally wouldn't have jumped into the action like that if I was this low. I would have either tried to hit him from afar, or I would have ran towards the top river)
7 - correct
8 - correct
9 - correct (Although it really stresses me out, every time I have to make that choice. I know that if my botlane dies, they will be really pissed at me, but there is nothing I can do other than pinging danger for them)
10 - Incorrect (Now this is where my mentality of playing mid like a glorified support comes in. I know that I have to go and push out the waves in the side lanes, but I'm simply too afraid, that my team will fight without me. I just wanna be there to help them out, and defend my turrets at all costs. If my teammates are actually decent, then it usually pays off. If they're not, then...... yeah, we're screwed. Anyways, this is a big issue, that I've been trying to fix, but having support as my second most played role certainly doesn't help)
Oh, and btw it would be pretty neat to have a video like this, but in reverse. We get a low elo replay, where the player answered all 10 questions incorrectly, and we see how it messes up his game. I know that there are already videos like this, I'm just saying that there could be more, and they could use this format.

Skill capped as an edu content creator is amazing. This channel is one of the few, along with Neace, LS and some others that actually takes the game seriously and produces good content. In light of Voyboy's recent video I think the community deserves to hear you guys' take on afks, griefers, etc. We who care about the game should make a stand and say that enough is enough. 6:30 as a jungler, I do that for my laners a lot, and it usually results in them pinging me, flaming me, I back off, then they die to the enemy jungler, or even solo, because they can't realize i'm trying to help them. and then they say jg diff :)
slow pushing into pantheons tower is completely fine for lissandra there - lee sin is below her, she has bot prio, and she knows that the enemy jungler is top side so she's playing to the bot side. with aftershock and her E, there's almost no chance she can die. pushing that wave and getting a back off is the right call
For the last one, isn't it better to hold the wave until your botlane actually gets there, and then look for a recall, as you are holding a lot of gold from the shutdowns, then asking your bot to go mid and pathing bot. Otherwise their botlane might get turret plates, further snowballing ahead.
Only question I got wrong was the one with the engage because personally I'd tried a disengage with E over the wall

I KNEW IT! so, yesterday i had a similar lane as diana vs sylis. sadly i had died to him 1v1 one by cancaling an auto. then jungler died to him to clean it up. then he all in'd me shortly after when i was back. so i was 0/3. but sylis then roams almost all game and i shove it in each time. making the cs diff 50+ minions. and getting first tower blood at 10 minutes in. yes he has snowballed his botside but i keep pushing mid eventually getting all 3 mid turrets solo and can easily 1v1 anyone on there team now. i then focus on split pushing since we dont win teamfights.
After this whole game (which we lost because my team wouldnt stop dying to them and trying to teamfight.) my friend goes on and on how i lost us the game for not helping them, how the toplaner should be splitting and how i should have rotated for teamfights more. im glad to know my logic that game was justified and he's just salty.

Question 2: At that specific point, the wave is pushing towards lissandra because of how much lower her cannon is. It did not push as hard because of the even minion rule, but because the cannon decided to suicide under turret, hence nullifying the even minion rule
I technically got all but 2 right, but also all of them right. The call to jungler for mid push was one, I listed both options but chose to back (assuming I wouldnt get help) and the last one. I knew that I wanted solo XP and side lane pressure, but I also felt I had better wave clear to stall out mid being taken. So I got two wrong, but I recognized the correct choices as options prior to hearing the answer so... bonus? XD I know I still suck
The only one I got wrong was whether Liss having a pushing wave was good or bad. I recognized that she couldn't push it super safely, nor could she harass panth enough to ensure the push, but I saw Lee Sin invading, and knew that Elise started top, so I figured she could try to safely push the wave in and use the prio to try to pick Elise ion her own jungle.
I think the pantheon/elise gank at level 3 was incorrect to go for pantheon, pantheon has his e that can negate all incoming damage from a specific direction, not only that but he is only one auto (on a minion) away from his passive which increases his invulnerability period to 2.5 seconds. Thats more than enough time for elise to finish lissandra (still currently flashless) and turn it into a 2v1. With lee missing all of his cds he will struggle to finish pantheon and when he does will die to elise shortly after, after which elise can collect the minion wave and have a HUGE exp lead for the lee. However it still is risky for the blue team because of the minion damage potentially turning the fight. Idk why pantheon didnt use his e, it seems to be a misplay on his part. Maybe im missing something?
Hmm i was only suprised by the all in on panth. I thought it would be a bad idea cause he could block all the dmg if reacting fast enough. After all he was only missing 1 stack for it and by what i can tell his e was up. Wouldn´t that have screwed them over pretty hard?
should you still trade lanes in the last question, if you were some other mage without good escape like brand or ori?
if the blue cannon didnt randomly path into the tower AND if they only last hit and didn’t start damaging the wave before the next arrive, that wave stays frozen at that spot for another wave due to the blue cannons HP and it being a short lane. minion randomly taking tower shots negated it completely but no, with only last hitting that wave does NOT push back to pantheon immediately without the tower.
Lmao. As a jungle main I got a lot of the earlier jungle ones wrong, but I got all of these mid lane questions right. Maybe I just found these easier to memorize, or I should think about swapping to mid lane haha.
At 2:18, it will not push back due to "even minion rule", it will push back because the cannon will get hit by the opposite turret, that's a completely different thing. If the wave wasn't so close to Lissandra's turret that the turret would hit the cannon, it would push towards her due to minion hp difference. In general, Skill-Capped makes many false assumptions about minion waves with "even minion rule". Just test it in practice tool, even a slight HP difference makes the minion wave push the opposite way that "even minion rule" would suggest, for example if the wave is caught under enemy turret and a melee minion falls to 75% hp, then the wave will not bounce back even though Skill-Capped always suggests that it would, it will push back towards the closer turret and hence that's not a safe recall timing. And the reverse, even if the wave "bounces" off your turret but some melee minions lose a bit of health due to being hit by casters, it's a safe recall timing for you because the wave will not bounce, unlike what "even minion rule" would suggest. This is why the wave can actually ram into the same turret several times before finally bouncing back if no one touches it, this too can be tested in practice tool.

I'm a jungle main but i actually got it all right, well i guess beside being a jungler i still do know how to lane cause i used to be a top main and this is pretty common mind set when you're a solo laner

3:16 at this point if this was a lower elo game I think that pushing its not bad because pantheon would not realise whats happening and lissandra would not get harassed and if she played well she would harass panth under tower playing bot side of the map since lee is there, in case of someone coming or panth all ining she can just E backwards.

The only question that "I missed" was the 5th one... Because, since I saw Elise was near mid, she could have ganked and Panth+Elise could dive due to Lissandra's low health. It wasn't the wrong answer either, since my answer was to recall.
Also, when Pantheon roamed bot, if you pay attention, you can kinda see that he is heading towards bot due to his positioning.
Weirdly enough, I'm main support (now transitioning to top lane since I can't stand ADCs right now)

U can allways win regardless of ur teamates ur champ the matchup it self the team comp. Just with good decisions and good mental u can make it to the top

i got 70% of the questions right, and the ones i got wrong was because o didn't know them, so now i have free knowledge to get ahead, but still loose the game because my team just keep on feeding

can you have a video indepth how to make a gameplan as a jungler, how to identify which lane to gank when or just invade. ty skillcapped but im still hardstuck gold1/plat 4 player xd
They kind of have indirectly. Watch a lot of their jungle guides and you'll see a trend; league is a game with so many variables and unique circumstances that its nearly impossible to create a set gameplan you can follow 100% of the time. Instead, the point of this channel and its guides is to give you a framework for decision making so that you can play around and build fundamentals. In a lot of their videos they give a gameplan for the matchup/game and then explain why they made that gameplan; analyze that second part in each video, the WHY behind each gameplan, and you'll start to pick out how to create your own. Another thing that has helped me from watching these videos is to simply try it; in loading screen i always try to formulate and say out loud what my gameplan and "3 missions" will be, then I do my best to commit to the missions i gave myself and then take note of what does and doesn't work.
Personal opinion only ; priority in early ganks : 1 how pushed they are , 2 whether you or your team have good cc or damage to kill . If you are in higher tier you should also think of sums timing , enemy jgler postion and don’t be too scared to try to dive . Transition to mid game : always play for objective , dragon , herald pre 14 for turret plate , your best bet is keep on ganking only one side of the map to snowball which also sets you up for easy objectives . More advanced thing would require you to have good knowledge of your champ and identify power spike (certain level or item ) and force fight then to accelerate the game . As to invading , take notice of your landers position if you are only looking to fight enemy jgler , otherwise as long as enemy jgler appear on other side of map then just go take whatever you can .

I straight up thought to base there and not ask the jungler so 1st mistake plus one before that, I thought it was wrong if you crashed the wave cause of your summ spell CD plus the threat of elise. 2 questions wrong not bad though
I dunno if the last one is that obvious because lissandra is a range champ with a nice wave clear and really hard to tive, compared to a pantheon who has a harder time in a 2 vs 1 situation.
I got every question right but the last one threw me for a bit of a doozy; it seems very situational to address the major threat of the enemy or not, but--as Sun Tzu said--attack what is weak (hence the solo lane pressure makes sense to me). However, one thing you didn't include which I find a touch of an oversight is that, despite the even minion rule, minion buffs can become significant at level disparities and cause a lane not to bounce back if it doesn't reach a turret. Or perhaps that concept was removed and I'm not aware of it, or perhaps it wasn't a thing at the time of this video I'm not sure--just a mention!
