Gobbos on wolves that pursue what amounts to a vendetta with the Realm of Hysh, essentially the fantasy 'sun' of the setting, because its light hurts their beady little eyes, and the notional Boss Goblin's wolf Jaggedsnarl is actually the ruler of the Gitmob, not the Gobbo that happens to be riding it this week - just perfectly bonkers.
These guys don't actually have much beef with the sun, that's just the basic moonclan grots. These guys think the sun chases the Bad Moon across the sky and appreciate someone who can be that much of a bully
reminds me how 40k has 2 Egyptian themed armies of mindless troops lead by only the strongest willed of the upper classes, and the troops all lost their souls due to the pride and desperation of a single leader who now working hard to reverse it
My word, I am *SO* glad that I didn't do a lot of big spending on Warhammer these past 2-4 months. Because this Gitmob expansion combined with the new Aspect Warriors are going to bleed my wallet dry when they come out. Also, side-note, the rock that Jaggedsnarl is standing on should not be demeaned by the term "Tactical Rock", what he has is much more majestic and involves more creative posing than what your average Tactical Rock gives. This is a Tactical Cliff!
I really love those wolves, especially the leader. If these are anything to go by, the Space Wolves are gonna be a treat when they get revealed. And Im fairly certain there will be some nice conversions with that leader model for space wolf players
This army is perfect, feels like a good refresh from OG models without leaning into being too over the top AOS shenanigans. They could be used for Old World as is, or, well, they can't because old world is only old models for some reason, but imagine Old Wold was an actual refresh, we could have had that
I once got a single Freeguild Cavalier from ebay just for a fun painting project and also a DnD character. I might do the same with that wolf rider at 5:20 , it's an awesome mini
These are all amazing models and that's rare for me to say these days, no doubt they'll cost a fortune! Great to see the Doomdiver Catapult back, used to love playing this in the old days, so much fun. Just need to see the return of the snotling pump wagon, now there was a warmachine!
Fun historical fact, the double-riders did happen. Very early cavalry in Assyria had two riders, as they just translated how their chariots worked to a single horse. The front rider had the reigns, and the other had lance, shield and bow. Granted it didn't last before dropping to 1 rider. But it was real.
The Sunchompaz leader Droggz da Sunchompa miniature is fierce looking. The details are splendid, especially with the axe in the hands of the grot on the Snarlfang, it's a crudely designed axe. Good AoS reviews thia month!
Since cardboard cut-out Grom in the 4th Ed starter box, Gobbos on Wolves is as classic as it comes in Warhammer. The wolf being the brains of the operation is a great new twist!
love the wolves, My Gitz will expand from being only Squigs to also having Wolf Riders, and ofc Doomdiver Catapult :D ofc i also almost got so i can play pure Throggoths. :D
Yeah, as much as I have to admit that AoS models are absolutely bonkers... I just wish the guys at GW would realize that most people don't play ten feet away from their model shelf, we gotta transport that stuff. Just hauling an army to the FLGS for a game means I need like three foam boxes/cases.
@@elijahherstal776 Magnet trays are the only way I can transport a lot of the modern models. There are far too many weird bits that stick out these days for foam cases.
@@TheIndigoEclipse I've started having to do that for most of the larger models... well, magnets under the base and metal trays glued to the bottom of a plastic bin. ...but that just means I end up with like 7 shoebox-sized boxes with like two models in each. And now you know why I only play skirmish games. Necromunda is the only GW game worth the time and effort.
These wolves might just get repurposed... depending on their exact size comparison with human size figures. From the pics I think you could fit a human rider... but I'm not 100% sure without closer comparison.
Guys and Gals, I like Kirioth and his content but I'm a bit sad when I watch the subscriber counter going up so slow. So be nice to him and click the subscribe button if you didn't do it already.
Does anyone know why kiriothtv struggles to run through a chromecast? I cast from my phone and this is the only channel that has to buffer every two seconds. That’s not an exaggeration,- the video pauses to buffer every two seconds throughout the entire video.
Stop gobbling their balls, the prices are disgusting, the power creep is crazy, and they've got all sorts of horrible practises like stealth quality-decreases, ignoring/forgetting about niche army updates or scrapping whole ranges
It will be great. buy all these then watch them get forgotten for 2 years as you auto lose any game. then GW will just delete the range and make us part of the orks.
It's not an army of Grotz on wolves, it's an army of wolves equipped with disposable Grotz
Truth
Love it more
I want the gobbos to have the companion tag on their weapons, not the wolves!
@@mrlord8614 i would too if companion wasnt such a aweful unfun rule
Ablative green armor >_>
That moment when gobbos have better looking wolves than the space wolves
There are no wolves on Fenris... 😜
Aos will always have better looking models

"Yes."

Yeah, I've always liked gobbos on wolves, but adding the Fury Road insanity? *chef's kiss*
The fact that AoS now has two wolf themed armies pleases me greatly.

Didnt think I needed kamikaze goblins, but here we are.
Gonna buy that big wolf, stick a stormcast ontop and paint the wolf Okami colours :3
As a Space Wolves enjoyer this makes me so hyped for their refresh.
This is one of the reasons Gloomspite Gitz are one of my favorite armies. Who ever designs their models really knows how to make them FUN.
Gw, please remember this quality whenever you revamp the space wolves line because these gits look fantastic

I love these. I may eventually buy these. Paint them as Knights-- The wolves I mean not the grots. They're just the ones who use the lances

well the spacewolves thunderwolves need to be redone...

Gobbos on Doggos

2:02 he had the Grom the Paunch look only less fat.
Okay so how come we still don’t have updated sculpts on basic troops or spider Riders
I'm looking forward to try and get that launch box. My trolls have been needing some speedy gitz that are a bit more mobile
