    Great video man!! I have a very similar workflow but been resampling to one pad and playing the beat all in one take doing the drums live very similar to what you do. I have noticed the pops in the audio that happen every once in a while when I resample using this method. It’s so frustrating and can’t find why it’s happening or how to fix it.
    So you are essentially doing the same workflow as me but you record it all into your daw as one single wav file ? Maybe I need to try this. You don’t have any of the skips or pops in the audio when you do it this way ?

    This may be an odd request, but could you do a video on how to use the banks? I'm new the SP404 MKII, and am struggling to figure out how to play the sample loop on one bank, while playing the drums on a different bank so that I can hear both banks at the same time. I hope that isn't confusing, but it's really got me confused lmao. Your vids have really helped me so far, life saver!

    • @spvidz
      @spvidz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you have your sample perfectly looping and set to loop as well. You would press that pad, it will start playing and looping then you can hop to any bank and play drums etc. Its not a great way of approaching things though thats why I usually build a beat per bank, or just use the pattern seq thats a good bet too

    great vid! when you first got the MKII, what did you do with the sounds that already came with the unit? when i got the sx, i didnt want to delete the sounds on the demo card, so i just used another sd card. now that theres internal storage on the MKII, keeping the base sounds seem tricky, unless im missing something lmao.

    • @spvidz
      @spvidz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I deleted them all straight away haha. You can factory reset if you want them back but they are stored on the internal memory. You could export them all to an SD card if you wanted to

    Hi bro! Have you noticed that in this new sp mkii when you resample the volume of your beat gets lower? The more times you resample, the lower it gets. If you have noticed, do you have a solution for that?

  • @bjamminsincebirth3494

    To stop the sample instead of mashing exit you could put an empty pad in the same mute group and use that?

    • @spvidz

    Great video! Question, is it easy to create a loop from an external device like a part of a song on TH-cam will it start and end on time. How would you set this up like bpm, number of bars, etc…

    • @spvidz
      @spvidz  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That wouldn't be too easy, you might be able to use the pattern mode to get it looping to the right length and BPM that you want and then resample that pattern on to a pad. There is a BPM sync button that I also need to look into as well!
