I was expecting it to be released during D23 to steal some of Disney’s thunder. They may have thought it would have been buried by the announcements there. One thing I expect to happen along with this announcement is an official announcement for Universal GB.

There should be an entire theme park dedicated to Harry Potter in Britain since thats where Harry and all his friends and family were born. The Harry Potter story adventures are all very very Great Britain. And I love the sound of British accents because they always remind me of those stories.

I know I'm in the minority since I wish universal had gone with a different themed land instead of a 3rd harry potter land. I'm not a harry potter fan so I would have liked to have seen something different.

Well it's extremely popular and still to this day draws guests into Universal Parks so it's a no-brainer. There isn't a franchise Universal has that would have the same amount of pull as the HP franchise.

@@capthemagic I fully understand why they did it. That's why I acknowledge I'm in the minority here. I just think they had more potential to explore even more possibilities. Though I suppose they don't have enough huge IPs that the normie guest will resonate with. And if they did, they don't have enough faith in it to build a land around it compared to harry potter.
