Thing people don't realize is if you have a park that's brand new, you really can expect long wait lines and some issues. Everyone wants to be there on opening day or week so there will be long lines, and not everything can be tested on that capacity of people until there is actually that many people

Based on nothing, I think they might have a mix of free previews for AP's based on a lottery or an online queue like they do for their other special AP events. I hope they also offer a reduced rate for previews because I know I won't get anything free, lol. Just let me in! 😆

Saw universal cast member state in another official universal group that single day tickets will be available for non-passholders very soon. I would wager that will also likely include something for what you’re talking about. Hopefully.

Freedom pass probably won't have/add Epic until 2026. Maybe even 2027.

I hope I’m wrong but I think this park will be Hollywood Studios: Supercharged as far as wait time goes. They didn’t build nearly enough capacity. 11 Rides and two shows 2 of the rides being flat ride, that probably won’t be very popular. Meanwhile HS has 9 rides and 7 shows and some of the worst wait times in the world. If they hit the same attendance as HS it could be a big problem.

In the first 12-18 months this park is going to be packed because its NEW. You have valid points about the number of rides. The good news is that most rides will have a fairly high capacity with the exception of maybe the DK minecart ride. HS suffers from a few low capacity but highly popular rides like slinky dog, tower of terror, and Rockin rollercoaster. I expect Battle at the ministry, Frankenstein Experience, and Stardust to be hitting at least 2000 guests an hour, stardust probably hitting closer to 3000 with two tracks and multiple trains. It will be interesting to see how wait times and capacity looks per land and which lands are actually the most popular.

Fair points about the rides but on the other hand I believe they've created this park in such a way that each land of the park will be a breathing creature and an attraction on itself, with so many interactive things, elements, photo opportunities, surprises, performers.... heck even almost evert restaurant will be worth visiting for the experience (hello Burning Blade). So I think that will keep people wandering an entertained throughout the day without necessarily waiting in ride lines all day. Epic Universe is unlike anything done before.

Japan has 2-3 hour waits on all mario attractions no matter the time of day so it's going to be an issue

@ I'm not disagreeing with you but we're theme park people, we do those things... The general public mostly goes from attraction to attraction because they are limited on time. And this park will be loaded with GP all day every day for the foreseeable future.
