Nice video, explains the reason for the holes. But two things are wrong.
1. Water doesn't evaporate at 100°C. That is the boiling point. Not evaporation temperature. Temperature does influence evaporation but that isn't the reason behind it.
2. Water evaporating at room temperature is not due to collision or additional energy but due to vapour pressure. At any given moment the surface of water will be in two phases: liquid and gas. When molecules attain gaseous state they at times don't return to the liquid state. This is the reason why molecules of water evaporate faster in summer and slower in winter. Water boils when the vapour pressure of liquid equals that of the atmosphere.. which is why they bubble up. Same reason is why water boils at a much higher temperature in a pressure cooker😊:) Correct me if im wrong.
