      No... bcz when u reach 10.33 m then u reach exactly atmosphere pressure.... more then 10.33 m the process becomes reverse... due to bottom of tube water feel high pressure than atmospheric pressure.

      Yes u can bro. The pressure difference acts the major part. The straw is a hollow cylinder so 1bar pressure acts both inside and outside the straw. When u suck the air inside the straw u have removed the air so that it become void space. Anything in the world always try to goes from high pressure to low pressure only so that the water will goes inside the straw by pressure difference. When the vacuum is created 100% it will goes about 10mts only that equals to atmospheric pressure this happens only in earth because earth atmospheric pressure only 1bar planet to planet it will change.

    If we increase the pressure in the bottle then we can bring the water to our desired level.
    Like- close the bottle cap with two air tight opening for 2 tubes, one for suction and another for delivering pressure inside the bottle.
    Increase the pressure in empty space of bottle the higher the pressure req in the tube. LHS=RHS simple.
    I think this works!!

      Capillaru action held becoz of 3 major factors...
      1.cohesion
      2.potential difference of water build up between leaf vein xylem, and xylem of trunk due to respiration
      3.attraction of of particles in it and surface tention...

    • @kugendiranumaiya4367
      @kugendiranumaiya4367 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Respiration occurs continuously even in low light/sun atleast less amount... So the potential pressure gradient of water molecules doesnt stop for any reason but there is a chance to amount of gradient due to low sunlight, humidity, low tperature...
      And root pressure doesnt allow the back flow of capillary action...

      Aagum.but for very few mm(because of surface tension).commonly there is no relation between area of tube and pressure.

    To derive the formula at 4:33
    We know that ,
    [Pressure=Force/Area]...(1)
    According to Newton's 2nd law,
    F=ma
    Here a=g,
    Then,[F=mg]...(2)
    We know that,
    Volume =l×b×h
    Area =l×b
    Then, volume =A×h
    [A=volume/height]...(3)
    Substitute the value of Force and Area in Equation...(1),
    Pressure =Force/Area Pressure=mg/[volume/height] We know that,
    Density=Mass/volume
    Then,[ Pressure=¶(rho)×g×h ]
    The formula is derived...!!
    Any doubts ask me...
    Shortly,
    Call me as,

    bore well motor works using air compressors. compressed air is forced into the bore well via thin hose, which forces the water beneath morethan 500 ft also to raise above into a parallel hose wider than the air hose, this will reach to the top as long as we keep running the compressor and supplying pressurised air into the well

Since rhow x g x h = pressure
