If you want to go leather-less, Saunders has a couple of plastic tab options. There are only a couple of non leather glove options. Bearpaw has a winter and summer glove, but I really like the Timber Creek microfiber glove sold by Merlin.

Oh, thanks! I think Yost has a non leather one, too.

Most of those designs may work for shooting but are otherwise impractical. That calf hair tab and similar designs can be rotated around your finger when not in use so you never notice it...unless you need to get in you pockets. The only time my tab comes off my finger in a days shooting or hunting is if I need to get in my right pocket.

I’m starting to get the hang of them now. I’m mostly past the awkward phase 😀

I shot glove for like 10 years, than I changed on a tab and never looked back.
The thing is, You "tame" the glove for, like two weeks, then its fine for a week or two, than You have to change it.
Tab on the other hand, can be totally adjusted to You. It lasts for years, if it's a good one. I didn't find such a glove until now, they all get used up pretty fast, in a month or two of SERIOUS shooting.
If You choose the right size, you normally don't need to do that, but you can trim a tab a little, to enable even smoother release, but not feel a burn on Your fingers (if You do, the tab is too short).
Glove puts the arrow even more on the side of the eye, (aim adjustment is harder),and forms leather creases, from which the string goes out harder. You can THINK, that it doesn't, but it does. The hook has to be deeper with a glove, to be secure, then see just above.
Anchor positive identification is also harder with glove. Nothing beats a naked three finger feeling on anchor. I use it to touch the same tooth every time, along with the other references, that I had with a glove. My accuracy went straight up unbelievably in first half our of using it. Which is not surprising at all, all archery trainers and masters, be it fita or trad, say the tab is better than glove.
But most amusing was the end of Your video for me. I remembered my beginning with a glove. I liked the look of it, and I wanted to try it. A friend (who is also a very wise and clever archery equipment salesman, wink, wink), borrowed me one of his.
After a two or three shots, I returned it to him, saying:" I can't shoot with this". He answered: "sure you can't, after two shots. Use it at least half an hour, stupid. You have to suffer a little, to look good, or learn a new things."
So he successfully sold me a new glove.
But, he was spot on, then: the glove looks good, but that's all.
It's interesting though, that I hadn't have any problems with tab when I switched back after more than ten years, not for a second.
After just a few shots, I switched back to a glove, just for comparison, and I had a same reaction like You. It felt cumbersome and awkward, because it really is, it hinders your shooting more than you are willing to admit it, if you are using just a glove.
I solved my other problems, on which some refer to, very easy. Because I am loosing a lot of my things (I even lost a glove or two), I make a fixed leather ring adjusted to my finger on all my tabs. It just hardly slips on and holds my tab in place very securely. When I don't need a tab, I just turn it on the back of my hand, with one thumb move, and than I have full use of my right hand, with all the fine feeling in my fingers.
Use tab for a while. After some time ( very short one) You will wonder how did you ever use a glove, why were you so stupid, and why would anybody do that to himself.
And no, I don't want to sell you anything this time.😀
There simply is not one sound argument for using a glove, be it practicality, durability, economy (some of them can get really expensive, but they get used up all the same relatively fast) or, most important, accuracy.
Those who shoot good with it, would shoot a lot better with a tab.
I hope that Your switch goes well. And even if it doesn't, I hope that you will continue shooting.
I saw You in many videos, not just on this channel and I can say that we share the same passion for archery.
Best wishes from me, and sorry for my long comment!

Tab all the way for me. Used to shoot a glove for years, tried a tab and never looked back. My shots all improved without changing anything else, but who knows, maybe that was just me. Biggest plus to a tab is it doesn’t get wet or sweaty like a glove, which causes the string to drag on release.

I shoot mediterranean and have now tried at least six tabs...I just can't get on with them, they feel like they are about to fly off my fingers. I now shoot with German unlined armed services gloves, they are thin and I used to get a lot of string bite through them but shooting 50# plus bows soon develops some peachy calluses, plus they are only £7 a pair!!

You'd probably get on with a spigarelli barebow tab. It's all leather, so its easier to take arrows out with it, without taking it off.
With only a very little practise, you'll soon find you barely notice you're wearing a tab while nocking arrows.
They also give you the option of string-walking.

I had to start wearing a Tab because my Arthritic fingers wouldn't work together using a glove. I prefer the Saunders Tab shooting
split finger, but do to having long fingers, I use a Medium top layer followed by 2 Large layers. Good Luck!!!

Just two wild guesses but i think the furry one is made of calf hair and the "sharkfin" tab (which i also found interesting looking btw!) has that metalplate to either help aligning better against your face or perhaps help the archer not to squeeze your hand into the tab to much when pulling your string? :)

Just stick with your glove, those ones with the metal bits on em make life difficult for pulling out arrows that are tightly stuck in the target. The glove doesnt get in the way at all.
