I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness. I was required to "prepare for" and attend FIVE meetings per week...The Ministry School, The Service Meeting, The Book Study, The Watchtower Study and the Public Talk. Along with this, I was expected to get at LEAST 10 hours of "Field Service" or Door to Door each month, prepare and give a "talk" about every two months, and attend all of the Circuit and District Conventions. (District Conventions back then were FIVE LONG DAYS.) I had very little time or energy for anything else, and I rarely did any homework. I was also not allowed to have any friends in "the world" or "worldly" friends. I was not allowed to partake in ANY after school activities...I was not even allowed to join the Chess Club. I never got to celebrate Christmas or have a birthday party...not to mention Easter, 4th of July or any other holiday. And I did not have a clue that I was in a cult. I believed everything I was taught since I was a baby, and like I was trained, would DEFEND "the truth" to anyone that tried to show me the true light or real truth. I was about 40 years old when I began to question what I had been taught. I coincided with them changing the doctrine on 1914 yet again, due to their "new light." According to them, the generation of 1914, is STILL alive, and Jesus has already returned, but he came invisibly. Once I started to do honest research with a lot of it using the "Societies" own past publications, my eyes were opened. (Among other things, they have had one false prophesy after another.) I have now been free from this high control cult for many years, after doing a "long fade" as to avoid being disfellowshiped and shunned, simply for no longer agreeing with their doctrine. One thing to keep in mind...you may....just may, be able to plant a small seed of doubt in the mind of a JW, but they are TRAINED to raise their shields and NOT even listen to anyone or anything that questions the teaching of their Governing Body...especially an X-JW who they refer to as "apostates." They will not visit your church, or read anything you give to them. At your door, they may take it, but they are trained to throw it away without looking at it. Never forget they are truly cultists. And I am so glad I have freed myself from them.
@ltbob8274 I had a very similar upbringing. I remember sitting in the hallway while all the other kids would have birthday cake or Christmas activities. The most embarrassing thing would be knocking on a classmates door on a Saturday while they are watching cartoons while bacon smells are wafting out. Then, hopefully, it isn't mentioned at school. No sports or playing with the neighborhood kids. College is selfish and you should be a poor pioneer. I did make a bit of a splashy exit. I hated being a JW. My folks eventually bailed out with the changes of doctrine. I was pleasantly shocked.
Just wanted to say that you and your husband helped my husband when he was waking up 6 years ago. He passed away on November 5th from complications from his neobladder surgery. He was 45. His name was Jason Lepera and he was never baptized but he seriously identified with all the trauma since he was raised as JW

@@כמובבית-ל1ג”privileges” are all ways to serve the organization more, be involved in more service to the organization and thereby receive a title so that others know you are doing more. For instance, committing to spend 50-70 hours per month in the ministry will earn you a title. But you can only have the “privilege” of that title if you are an “exemplary” person, in other words, are abiding strictly to all of the organization’s rules of conduct and even being careful not to do anything that would offend anyone, but being “above reproach.” So again, all “privileges” are various ways to serve the organization more and get a title for it.

One of the most cruel cult organizations posing as a religion that I have ever encountered. It's as if the members have been so brainwashed they can't see the forest from the trees. It's frightening.
They can't even see the trees for the leaves. They're more effed up than you think. I was damn lucky to get out when I did. I have a friend (so far) who got sucked back into that cult. All I can do now is to be here for her when she needs me.
@carolenelake688 it really is brainwashing. I remember someone calling the Watchtower study the "brainwashing session." The way the information is relentlessly pounded into your head keeps you so busy that you don't have time to be yourself.
Omg! This so rich snd rewarding and so open minded of understanding! I will sent this video to my 3 Jw children who’s abandon their father😢 it’s so clear and to the point ! Thank u much for a person like u to place this info out there!
EXCELLENT ANALYSIS! Can’t believe how SO MANY of us fell for THIS Real Estate Property Empire !! .. TRUTH or should I say as …understanding of PRESENT TRUTH which can constantly change disguised as NEW LIGHT! The answers I gave to over 100 Questions on Doctrine when I got baptised in 1980 have Changed dramatically… for example understanding of .. This Generation??(was within about 70 years of 1914 .. Now Overlapping Generation which at present 110 years since 1914 & still counting 😮) Or .. Sheep & Goats (was separating them while we were preaching during Last Days ..Now Jesus does it after Great Tribulation starts)?? Or Faithful & Discreet Slave ?? (Was 144,00 Now 11 predominantly White Americans in New York) etc etc .. Reminds me of George Orwell’s 1984 book within it is a department called MINISTRY of TRUTH which was constantly changing & being updated !
Ironically ekklesia ( assembly) was the word, never Governing Body in 33 AD. It's post modern lexicon. Russell never Said this, did he??? Weigh in......maybe it was during Rutherford?
Oh my gawd you’ve got it to a tee. Sharp, quick, to the point and in a nutshell. When I was 20 and at a very low point struggling with a full time job, young child and pregnant in one room with an abusive husband….They knocked one Sunday. I had no idea of any religion or bible so I was sold (by what I realised later as cherry picking scriptures) and the idea that all JWs were wonderful, lovely people who would never do harm ( haa ). And that the more my husband got the ‘truth’ he would change. He didn’t he got worse. He got baptised and got worse. And I continued to be told , pray , thee more he studies he will change. The more he learned, the more bold he became with the ‘man of the house ‘……’discipline, don’t spare the rod ‘ for the kids and myself. And the no divorce other than adultery ! Oh..and sisters….well…gossipers and would openly flirt with married brothers. Brothers and sisters would get up to all sorts (,some really bad ) in secret. But if find out would get a visit from elders, scriptures read, maybe, just maybe lose ‘privileges ‘ like not taking round the mic. I never got baptised. I stopped going. And I got divorced. Best thing I ever did. And that’s why it’s so good to see this video. She’s amazing. When I was studying we moved around a lot, each time being told you won’t see that happen here, haa each congregation had its own little secrets and goings on wherever. I saw and heard a lot but as I say it would be too much typing, I could fill a book. I’m now 70 and those times still make me shudder. Many thanks to people like this young lady to be brave enough and give her time to put it out there. From England ❤
Hi spot on, all you said I agree. My brother is an elder of Jw. I am not Jw and will never be though he tried to indoctrinate me for years. He is the only relative i have in Australia. I feel alone without a brother. Whenever I spoke with him It's like he does not have a mind of his own.
I'm a former Mormon who left after 50 years. Unfortunately my younger son who's now 18 is being dragged into the JWs by his best friend. This is my worst nightmare.
@expatmamameettheexpats542 hopefully it is just a fad. My dad went from being devoted JW to a die-hard conspiracy theory nut and treats Trump like the new Jehovah. 🤦
SPOT ON again!!! I was in 12 years and this is SO accurate & true. I don't see this very often with people sharing about topics they've been involved in. You are not clickbait, and I APPRECIATE THAT. Thank you!! --Tess
You are so very well spoken...great information. Its so nice to hear a powerful exjw speak i love the confidence. Im the same way,ive never ever once doubted my decision to leave ❤
Even the word Jehovah is used in manipulative ways. The Caleb and Sofia videos has the mother saying, "Do you want Jehovah to be happy or sad?" Jehovah is spoken of almost like a pet guinea-pig in a pocket 😢 😅
@margo.3466 I've noticed a lot of 'Jehovah' this and 'Jehovah' that from Witnesses. There's a presumption he's a pal of some sort. Other religions appear to have more reverent approach to 'God.' When the mother says, "Jehovah will be sad," is she being a mindreader?
@@trilithon108 The Bible clearly states that only Jehovah knows the hearts of men. Men see only the outer appearance and make assumptions based on their own perception of the person they're talking to. It's not Jehovah that's at fault....it's the JWs as they have a tendency to pressure people and make them feel guilty cos JWs assume that if you don't attend meetings then you're a wrong 'un but it's nothing to do with them. Bible also states that Jehovah does not make you do something that you are not able to do but JWs don't mention that part. If in doubt, always rely on scripture and not them.
It's their Brand Name, just like every other corporation Coke, Pepsi, Apple, Android, ... keep putting the brand name out there and don't say or do anything to hurt the brand. SA in the congregation?? Hide it so it doesn't hurt the brand, who cares about the victims, protect the brand at all costs.
This is a great video exposing the deception of this cult that defames the deity of Christ and the Christian church. So glad I watched this. I will definitely share with others.
Been out since 1999, and I still find myself battling the inductrination I was subjected to from birth. It deeply altered my perception of myself and my selfworth. I still have a hard time perceiving my contributions at my job or to my circle of friends. I learn to peel the layers of internalised shame as time goes by, but I still am amazed at how deep this is ingrained. Thank you for your contribution to my healing. 😊 Love from Denmark
Anyone remember when watchtower described, "new light" as a sailboat tacking in the wind? Going foward in a zigzag fashion. One of the most ridiculous analogies to ever come out of the org.
Oh, yes! “Tacking into the wind”! That stood out just the the two subtitles a little over a year later: “Avoid Independent Thinking” (in oneself) and “Fight Against Independent Thinking” (in others). The “tacking” analogy was explained as how it “may seem” that the Society goes back and forth on doctrine and policy, but it really doesn’t. As you mentioned, the Society claims to follow a “zig-zag” pattern. Of course, in its distilled form, the “tacking” analogy is actually only the “celestial chariot” argument in a maritime setting. Both forms of the argument were inadvertently debunked at the Society’s annual meeting last year, when Winder said, in effect: ‘We don’t need to apologize for getting it wrong.’ Put another way: ‘The boat-or, the chariot-are going around aimlessly in circles and we’re not going to apologize for it.’
Sorry if this is a little off topic I have a question for anyone. I recently spoke to an indoctrinated member. When I tried to tell her about them selling off Kingdom Halls, one in particular in Sedona Arizona in 2018. This was sold to a church and I looked it up on the assessor's page. It sold for 800,000. The Kingdom Hall was sold to a new age church it's purple with idols all over the front and inside. I I mentioned the book of Acts how in that time could have sold all their magic practicing books what's would be 50 million. Instead they burn them. So how can they use that as the example of selling a Kingdom Hall, and destroy it before they would sell it to a church who they say is Babylon the Great? The JW said that's business. That there is no parallel. They're just buildings is what she said. So maybe I'm overthinking. She said she doesn't get into anything that's their business, and what the governing body does.
@earthwisdomhelps watchtower is a tax exempt real-estate corporation under the guise of religion. Kingdom halls are built with free labor, they don't pay property taxes then they sell off defunct kingdom halls at an enormous profit.
Watching from Africa, Born Raised in Oregon! Excellent podcast 👏 and much needed for those questioning their role in this Cult. I am recording this so my wife can view it later today. This will really help her as she was very active until they removed her for marrying me without their "Elders" permission! When they ordered us to divorce we refused, so we were removed for disobedience to imperfect men!!! Since they think they are the voice of Jesus speaking! 😮 we were shaking in our boots! Now they beg us to return, money talks to their imperfect leadership 🙄
But God hates divorce. How can they possibly tell you to go against what God says... Even wedding vows... :what God has put together, let no man put asunder' - soooooo... You can get disfellowshipped for going against God, but also disfellowshipped for not going against him! Im just so sorry.
@joanne: I’ve watched ex-JW activist programs where shocking information was given by commentators that elders have encouraged married people to leave a mate who disassociates from the religion. One man who disassociated made a video about an elder from his congregation actually coming to see his wife and encouraging her to leave, get a divorce and marry him! He didn’t want to leave his wife and kids, just woke up and realized the JW religion was false. This poor guy went into a severe depression and actually killed himself. It was a horrible mess.
So glad to see u again. You was part of my eyes-opening reality check some years ago(2019, I recall) . THanks God for your labor. I remembered your warm account of how you and Jon meet, the feed me thing and so on. Cheers.
As a 50 year former witness, you are all true. My sister has a worldly love flame, never attends meetings but claims she still believes yet you cannot talk to her about anything...talk about indoctrinated!
Why would you want to my family are JWs I'm not I faded 20 years ago . They don't count time anymore men have beards and don't have to wear a suit and tie . Women wear trousers suits. You can repent at the last minute and get saved. You don't report hours anymore. The overlapping generation the list is endless the above are recent. If they cannot see the above their brain has truly been switched off and until and if they are ready to you are just wasting your time. Immensely frustrating I agree but they seem somewhat in a trance and will view you as Satan and that will get the persecution complex on red alert.
I have to say what she is saying about how they treat those that turn in child molesters is sadly true. I was told I was going to be disfellowshipped if I handed over some very incriminating evidence about a child molesting circuit overseer! He was accused by two different families and he is still an elder! I said to myself this organization is messed up! After 25 years of so-called service I left and never looked back
OMG!!! I’ve been waiting for you to come back!! Maybe I’m late to the party but I don’t care. Slipped out & educated yourself bigtime I see! And it shows! Throwing verbal spears for a straight 10 minutes!!! I’ve watched fireworks shows at Disneyworld with less sparks! lol great job! Love it ❤️
Greetings from Rwanda (East Africa). I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to each one of you for your relentless efforts in helping to awaken those still trapped in that cult. Your hard work and commitment have not gone unnoticed, and I deeply appreciate all that you do. I vividly remember my last experience at what was referred to as a "Judicial Meeting," which I would more accurately describe as a Kangaroo Court. During that meeting with the elders, we engaged in a debate on various doctrinal issues, including the year 1914, the inclusion of the Tetragrammaton in their Bible, the so-called "New Light," and the kind of love that supposedly justifies the practice of shunning loved ones. And do you know what the response was from the elder? He simply said, "You have to believe it and follow it, even if it doesn't seem understandable." This experience, along with many others, reinforced my resolve and understanding of the need for waking up. Once again, thank you for your dedication in helping others find the truth.
I have recently discovered your channel and am so impressed with your knowledge/insight. I was born in and am POMI at age 54. Just don't want to lose my family.
I had this JW coming to my home for 10 years and he was a great resource in my pursuit of biblical knowledge. Everyone I tell that this study went on for this long without me being converted find it confusing but I believe the Holy Spirit was using me to get to him. I was recently baptized at a local non-denom church and he could not be happy for me which was really eye opening. Once the Jesus is God discussion started things got spiritually tense. I told him to prove to me with a KJV bible the one they used until they rewrote the NWT to fit their doctrine and no governing body indoctrination pamphlets that Jesus is not God and there was no further talk of the subject. After the visits became less frequent he tearfully ended it one day stating that he had to find someone more pliable to their doctrine but not in those exact words. It probably didn't help that I told him after hearing the constant Catholic bashing the whole time that he follows 8 popes that call themselves the governing body that are just as guilty for hiding pedophiles as any other church.
@@wps8091 Just one of the many scriptures that speak to the subject of the trinity which I am not qualified to teach on, but it does seem to be an obsession with some who want to be like God and put his infinite wisdom in a box they only have access to. I would imagine that Calvinists don't like this verse very much though.
@nonconformist9991 Thank you for your thoughts. I'm not familiar with Calvinists. How would this scripture not sit well with their belief system? Sorry for my ignorance!
@@wps8091 Calvinism isn't as complex as the Trinity but there are many resources that discuss this theology here on You Tube. I appreciate that you are seeking knowledge it proves that you won't be calling yourself ignorant for long, learning is the antidote to ignorance.
Even as a kid I knew I disliked the religion, I remember as a kid I’d always fake being sick or have full blown meltdowns when I had to go to service or to the meetings. I almost took my life when I was 18 because I hated feeling like I could never please Jehovah or that I couldn’t be good like the other kids.. I’m 20 now and I’m slowly easing myself out of the religion. Thankfully my parents aren’t jerks and aren’t going to shun me and even said they still love me. It’s just hard because this is all I know. But, I also realize that this religion never made me happy, even as a child. I never had true friends because I was always seen as bad because they’d gossip about me and my family. It always sucked and I have very bad religious trauma due to the stuff I went through in this religion. I’m glad I’m leaving finally.. but if anything I feel horrible for the children who are stuck and can’t do anything about it.
Geeze, you sound like me! I so hated going to any of the meetings. Hated field service. As a kid I would always think that someday I would be away from the cult. I just had to be patient. Finally, that time came. It was a long wait.
I'm so sorry this has happened to you. The good news is: you have the rest of your life ahead of you, and something marvelous is happening in this phase of your life: you are escaping into freedom! There is a God. They just couldn't lead you to him because they don't know him. And let's face it: they weren't really trying to put your hand in God's & his hand in yours. That was never their aim. Don't let your past cauterize your spirit.
Thank you for your articulate presentation of the absolute truth about this disgusting cult! I left a long time ago realized it was nothing more than a sleazy load of BS and was thoroughly committed to having the courage of my convictions. Went through the shunning even though I was never disfellowshipped. Witnesses never seem to realize that the way they malign, sneer at and attack those who leave only reinforces the waking up process!
Spiritual food… at the proper time. Conscience decision, and the two person rule. Oh, and my favorite was the public reproving that was followed by a special talk given the following week with the topic being whatever a person was “in trouble” for without their name being used. The shunning is still the same. Just a nod hello if a DF’d person shows up at a Kingdom Hall. We are still shunned by our families. Encouragement, aka “shepherding call.” I also never understood why all the poor mothers are stuck in the bathrooms with their kids during an entire convention. I learned to understand completely why they wouldn’t have programs for children.
An elder came to to my Mom's place , so excited to tell her he had just come from the hospital making sure this sister would not take blood. He was full of self love you could imagine he could have an orgasm over it. Weird people.
J’étais monoparentale de 19 ans sur l’aide sociale et les deux témoins chargés de me conduire jusqu, aux réunions me demandaient de l,argent, sinon ils arrêtaient. Aucun amour.
Another word they use frequently the last years: ‘adjustment’ combined with ‘loving provision’. That’s a smart one because if you question or don’t like the new teaching it equals denying Gods love. And there is also the use of the word THE organisation (with the emphasis on ‘the’) basically saying that’s the only one God uses and furthermore: they use it as a synonym for God. This is to make followers to obey because if you don’t agree with the organisation you deny God which is an ultimate sin. Oh yeah: and ‘spiritual or good progress’ as a way of saying someone is being more and more compliant with the doctrine of JW. It’s allready mentioned by somebody else but lets nog forget ‘privilege’. JW’s use this word in so many sentences. I remember that somebody in an interview at the assembly literally said ‘I received the privilege of cleaning the toilets during this assembly’. It’s so smart to describe every chore as a privilege to make sure people would want to do it. Please make a part 2 with all the input of your readers! :-)
Exactly how it was put to me when they needed someone to help with the magazine orders back in the eighties: "We wondered if you would like the 'privilege' of magazine assistant?" Simple but clever terminology. I left 35 years ago, what a relief.
Great video once again! Love watching your videos on this cult. I really enjoy your “in your face” explanations of these out right lies and beliefs. Can’t wait for more videos!!!
I went to elementary school with two JW children, a boy and a girl. When the Pledge Allegiance was recited of a morning, they would stand out in the hallway until it was done. As far as I know, they never celebrated any holiday, not even their birthday. This was in the mid sixties. Seemed like they would stay to themselves at recess or maybe not even go out and play. As a child myself, I thought it was strange, I guess. My mother tried to explain to me and my sister what they were and why. As I got older and understood more, it was really sad 😔 to think their parents were like that. God bless all. Amen 🙏 ❤.
Excellent summary of unique definitions. One addition to your fantastic delivery: preaching work has been going on for almost 140 years (incorporated as legal entity in 1879 to disseminate their views on the end.
This is an excellent video. I've been gone now for three years, Im its such a huge weight lifted off me. No more pressure to attend meetings, and go out in service. You are on point breaking down these terms..😉
not a trigger word but the saying, "we would never want to do this now would we?" I always hated it when they said that. that sounds like it's part of the Emotional control or Thought control of the BITE model. I always felt like saying, "yay I want to do that, gotta problem with it?"
I hadn't been to meetings in years and l wondered what on earth they were talking about."the friends" no longer our brothers and sisters that l had grown up with That saying really erks me out l think its their worse change.
Have been a Witness since 1995 in an English Speaking Congregation in UK. Australia woke me up. Am a PIMO. These days this Organization is like Orwell's Animal Farm 🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖. Warwick has become the Babylon the great 😂😂😂
To use another Orwell analogy, I would say that the Society is more like “1984”, inasmuch as the Society has adopted its own language, changing the very definition of words, to serve its own purposes.
excellent! My favorite JW 'trigger word' was 'Thrilling'. Thrilling is a descriptive word used by the JW to describe the long, boring , repetitive 'public talks' and or lectures by elders and overseers, also known as sermons in most Churches,
As someone who didn't get indoctrinated with religion as a child and therefore immune to religion I've frequently had some fun with those guys. I've discussed the topic for so long and with so many people there isn't an argument I wouldn't know a fitting answer for. When I was single and frequently bored at the weekend, when those guys were ringing the door bell I did let them in, I even served them coffee and I've had such a fun time watching them getting more and more desperate when they couldn't find an argument that I couldn't disprove. I even gained real life value out of them because some 30 years ago one of them forgot his umbrella and I'm using that umbrella to this day. In retrospect I'd say I did a good thing, because as long as I kept them busy with their futile attempt to convert me, they couldn't bother weaker people.
My brother is Jw because of his wife (born Jw) and when our mom died, 3 years ago, up to this time he never visited my mom's funeral and grave. It's like nothing to him, because mom and me are not Jw
Thank you, Beth. This is a good list. However, one word I would add is “integrity”. I’m old enough that I remember attending an entire district assembly which had “Integrity Keepers” as its theme. Of course, integrity carries the connotation of standing on principle. But, since the Society has no principles, other than pursuing its own interests at the expense of even the rank-and-file, the term has come to mean for Jehovah’s witnesses “fealty to the Society”. In fact, at that same district assembly, one of the speakers actually emphasized the following: “When the Society tells us to jump, our only response should be: ‘How high?’” The point he was making, in so many words, was that Jehovah’s witnesses need to maintain their fealty to the Society even unto-indeed, into-death. If the Society tells a witness to die-say, for instance, over the blood issue or governmental opposition-that witness had better die for the Society. After all, he or she is under orders from the Society to do so. Due to this warped redefinition of the term “integrity”, the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania can rightly be said to have the walls of its headquarters, Branch offices, factories, Assembly Halls, Kingdom Halls and other buildings painted in blood-the blood of the rank-and-file. It’s sick and twisted and it needs to be exposed!

Instead of asking a sister or brother do you mind cleaning the skid marks somebody left behind in the toilet? And the sister or brother saying no I'm not doing that. It gets framed in a different way, brother or sister you have the privilege of cleaning the toilets this week, that way the brother or sister doesn't want to loose his or her privalages and will do it
One of the most cruel cult organizations posing as a religion that I have ever encountered. It's as if the members have been so brainwashed they can't see the forest from the trees. It's frightening.
They can't even see the trees for the leaves.
They're more effed up than you think. I was damn lucky to get out when I did. I have a friend (so far) who got sucked back into that cult.
All I can do now is to be here for her when she needs me.
even religions that pose as religions do some of these. cult or religion, same underlying BS, even if tactics vary.
Why are you describing Sunday Christianity with such accuracy? It takes alot of gall to control God with your own Lord's day.
Wow, I think you got em all! Your definitions are exactly right.
@carolenelake688 it really is brainwashing. I remember someone calling the Watchtower study the "brainwashing session."
The way the information is relentlessly pounded into your head keeps you so busy that you don't have time to be yourself.
Omg! This so rich snd rewarding and so open minded of understanding! I will sent this video to my 3 Jw children who’s abandon their father😢 it’s so clear and to the point ! Thank u much for a person like u to place this info out there!
The real truth is what you said in this video!!
I worked in finance for several years and "donation" = "expected $$ per publisher" = "tithing"
Yeah but the church will never tell you about Numbers 18:21-24 tithe is for the Levi priest because they don't receive any inheritance 😂...
I bought a JW Advent calendar - every door that's open says F off.
Lmao!!!
awesome
😂😂 love it

I really enjoy your videos. I am newly out after 53 years ( born in ) Thank You for helping me navigate this new journey🫂
You and me mate
Left at 55...now 62. Born in. Lost entire family. But freedom is precious. Well done.🥰
Welcome to freedom. I too left this cult in March 2024 after 10 years being in it
Why did you leave?
@anitaromero6195 because it's dangerous cult
Sad but true. Some really nice people are cought up in this religion of the Governing Body.
Yup have to agree
born in, active for 25 years sad but true
Watching a video like this is a step in the process of waking up ⏰️
true ..... 😔
Thank you for exposing how they manipulate us with words. Bloodguilty always sent shivers down my spine.
I love having you back on TH-cam. I watched you as I woke up ❤️💕 Thank you! Excellent video as always 🌟
I'm a former Mormon who left after 50 years. Unfortunately my younger son who's now 18 is being dragged into the JWs by his best friend. This is my worst nightmare.
The watch tower, cult is ruining families and damages children's minds and we should expose expose this poisonous distractive Cult
@expatmamameettheexpats542 hopefully it is just a fad.
My dad went from being devoted JW to a die-hard conspiracy theory nut and treats Trump like the new Jehovah. 🤦
@rileyjordan9072 Well, that's quite extreme!😲
😂this list is completely accurate and I need a print out!
What you mean?
I love making Jehovah sad!
Thank you Beth for Exposing this extremely dangerous organisation Cult
This is a great video exposing the deception of this cult that defames the deity of Christ and the Christian church. So glad I watched this. I will definitely share with others.
Formally disassociated myself from the JWs in 1996. So good to be free. Great to see so many others left the Lie. Excellent video.
Absolutely love you and your content❣️ Thank you for sharing... You are spot on❣️
Been out since 1999, and I still find myself battling the inductrination I was subjected to from birth.

Anyone remember when watchtower described, "new light" as a sailboat tacking in the wind? Going foward in a zigzag fashion. One of the most ridiculous analogies to ever come out of the org.
Yes I remember that example.
I had forgotten about this one! Thanks. I got counselled for thinking it was funny at the time and it’s still actually pretty hilarious 😆
New light, bible trained conscience, honest hearted ones...
Honest hearted ones = easily manipulated/brainwashed!!!
Honest hearted = easily manipulated/brainwashed.
"faithful" "loyal" "the Slave"
God bless this smart and beautiful lady.
100% agree!!! Well said.
Well said on every point, i cant believe i got taken in by this for over 40 years of my life, feel completely robbed of time and peace of mind!
So true it was really self inflicted stupidity on our part
I was there for 30 years. For many years a pioneer and elder.
Straight to the point, I like it, thank you.
So glad to see u again. You was part of my eyes-opening reality check some years ago(2019, I recall) . THanks God for your labor. I remembered your warm account of how you and Jon meet, the feed me thing and so on. Cheers.
Whenever I am asked by JW'S if I am "of the truth " I respond "the TRUTH IS A PERSON - JESUS ! Not a organization "
Have you actually ever studied the old testament?
“Honest hearted” is a good one
I forgot about that one.
Love it ❤️
Oh this is rich. Saving this video. Hits so many nails on so many heads 😂 now how to get my husband to listen and wake up 🤔
My wife doesn't want to listen to anything. I'm not talking about this topic anymore.😢
He simply said, "You have to believe it and follow it, even if it doesn't seem understandable."
This experience, along with many others, reinforced my resolve and understanding of the need for waking up. Once again, thank you for your dedication in helping others find the truth.
This organisation Cult is extremely dangerous
I have recently discovered your channel and am so impressed with your knowledge/insight. I was born in and am POMI at age 54. Just don't want to lose my family.
Well said sister, absolutely spot-on! Keep up the great work , thoroughly enjoyed listening to you. 👏👍😄
Ex-Mormon here. It's amazing how similar this list is to what I experienced in Mormonism for almost 40 years. We should stand in solidarity.
Wonderful presentation.
Love to you and your lovely family.
So glad your free and are using your experience in a positive way to help others
List is very accurate.
counsel and reprove were the only missing words
I'd be interested in your thoughts on 1 Cor 11:3 KJV re trinity. Thank you
@@wps8091 Just one of the many scriptures that speak to the subject of the trinity which I am not qualified to teach on, but it does seem to be an obsession with some who want to be like God and put his infinite wisdom in a box they only have access to.
You got me with the endurance and the privilege.
Jehovah===Watch tower
shalom, excellent...
Good explanation of the 10 JW words that have loaded meanings.
An elder came to to my Mom's place , so excited to tell her he had just come from the hospital making sure this sister would not take blood. He was full of self love you could imagine he could have an orgasm over it. Weird people.
💖Well stated on all counts, Bethany! Thank you!💖💖

Simply excellent and true information. Thanks from Colombia
Been out for 22 years. I have so many stories to share.
Absolutely Love This. Everything you said is spot on TRUTH!!!!
Great video once again! Love watching your videos on this cult. I really enjoy your “in your face” explanations of these out right lies and beliefs. Can’t wait for more videos!!!
You just nailed the last 30 years of my life!
Amen 🙏 ❤.
Brillant video and so true, this Cult is rotten
Thanks for your Service sister 😄

Excellent explanations! I was never a JW, but the word I dislike is the "governing body". Yak!
loaded language for sure
This is an excellent video. I've been gone now for three years, Im its such a huge weight lifted off me. No more pressure to attend meetings, and go out in service. You are on point breaking down these terms..😉
Thank you 🙏 this was amazing
The word that triggers me is “ Inculcate”😖
Which equals indoctrinate.
Jeezee I haven't heard that word since you know when
Yikes - good one!
not a trigger word but the saying, "we would never want to do this now would we?" I always hated it when they said that. that sounds like it's part of the Emotional control or Thought control of the BITE model. I always felt like saying, "yay I want to do that, gotta problem with it?"
Funny! :)
Your video is like spiritual food for me at the right time. Thank you. ❤
I’m so glad you are back!!
Thank you so much for your honesty, The eleven clowns in the watch tower can't even Spell the world Honesty or love they're poisonous snakes!

"The Friends" ugh!
I hadn't been to meetings in years and l wondered what on earth they were talking about."the friends" no longer our brothers and sisters that l had grown up with That saying really erks me out l think its their worse change.
Glad I’m not the only one. That term used to infuriate me, I’ll decide who my friends are thanks…
Have been a Witness since 1995 in an English Speaking Congregation in UK. Australia woke me up. Am a PIMO. These days this Organization is like Orwell's Animal Farm 🐖🐖🐖🐖🐖. Warwick has become the Babylon the great 😂😂😂
Brooklyn was Babylon, Walkill-Patterson-Warwick have become BtG - Babylon the Great. Agape Love'n Greetings from old Germany.
In this way you insult Babylon.
To use another Orwell analogy, I would say that the Society is more like “1984”, inasmuch as the Society has adopted its own language, changing the very definition of words, to serve its own purposes.
@thomash.schwed3662 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Stay strong friend.
excellent!
My favorite JW 'trigger word' was 'Thrilling'.
Thrilling is a descriptive word used by the JW to describe the long, boring , repetitive 'public talks' and or lectures by elders and overseers, also known as sermons in most Churches,
Love your glasses!
I appreciate your clear thinking and efficient presentation… great work!
Thank you very much for this video 🙏🏾😇💖
My trigger is "Where will I go?" Ugh, just typing it hits me to the core.
