I built my first website for a customer in 1995 and found it interesting that the issues back then remain the issues today - slow loading, autoplay videos, hidden contact details and having to register to find out basics like pricing.

Annette, the only thing to change in the last 27 years is the technology that enables the internet to exist. Humans have remained the same, yet little consideration is give to them so they will continue to complain about the same things. The internet remains an impersonal, two dimensional, self service environment.

It has been almost 18 years since I first asked the question "what do you hate about websites" and the answers are still the same. Small business owners do not realise the importance of understanding their customers online.
Spend some time looking at your website and reviewing the needs of your customers. Is your website delivering What They Want? Get in touch if you would like to know how.
