how do you access the front badge from the bottom? My 2014 has a piece of rubber/plastic thats in the way. Im thinking of cutting it so I can reach up there. Any tips? I got the back one done no problem.

How would you know if an emblem has fasteners behind it? Do all of them or just certain models?

Nice job as usual! But am I wrong that he needs to loose the Auto sales sticker on the left of the tailgate? It takes away from your work!

Great video Darren! ..i know you have been extremely busy, but with much gratitude, i can't thank you enough for your wisdom and willingness to share it!..may the abundance you require and deserve be returned to you!..i do have a quick question if you don't mind..i noticed you used tape for guidance AFTER you removed old emblem, were you taking advantage of the fact that it was a BLACK vehicle and over 3 years old, that the old emblem would have left some GHOSTING, so by this you would have a reference in order to place new emblem correctly? ..would you have used tape for reference on a WHITE vehicle that was newer before removing the emblem for future reference when lining up new emblem? ...thanks again for all you do and i wish you and your family a beautiful holiday season..may Santa leave you a awesome rifle under the tree this year! :)

Hey Scott- nice to hear from you! I did use the tape as a possible reference point/alignment point after removing the old emblem as you suspected. It is a case by case decision call on my part. And yes; Santa actually left me a nice "toy" this year. A Glock 19 hand gun!! Love it! Take care my friend !

Darren what steps did you take in your detail for this silverado?I have a client with a white 14 silverado and idk if it's cause the truck is black, but whatever wax your using looks a bit deeper than mine.

It's really just the nature of photography. One reason I am not a fan of before and after shots. Pictures/videos have the ability to hide so much, so before shots are never really as dramatic on camera as they are in real life, and after shots are much better in picture. One of the reasons I make some of the comments I do on Instagram bout how a picture can make a car look flawless, when in reality, it is far from it. I would love to take more credit for it, but I can't.

As long as you're cleaning the truck, get rid of the rest of the clutter ,too. (silverado, Lt, and the place that sold the truck.) just a thought.

Another great vid Darren but I'm not a personal fan of the debadge. I still like the emblems. To each their own.

Did you offer to take that horrible dealer sticker off the tailgate? I hate those things. Because I ordered my last car I ask the dealer not to put it on and he actually agreed not to. After I told him if he wants his name on the car he can pay for it.

another happy customer. that's what a professional detailer never have to worry about but these trailer car wash fucks with cheap prices make it confusing for one to come to us and now here we go explaining how, what, and why we are totally different from that trailer trash lol. reason why I say that is because once they are done your car is trashed from that guy in the trailer. Stop being cheap and separate a trailer from a detailer. thanks it doesn't sound good and I'm sorry but these guys can't even wash a car properly better yet detail one and have the nerve to have the word detailing in what they do. just call it what it is boys. put on your card, truck, and trailer mobile Car Wash. and send the big job's to the bid Boyz.

I know...and because of these I keep getting more of these. And if you take the time to actually watch any of my videos; whether you are a DIY, enthusiast, already in the business, or looking to get into the business, you will always find lessons that are far beyond the casual observation of just "how to debadge a truck". Just saying....
