Speaking French has always been my dream but people who tried it would always put others down by saying it is almost impossible and so hard. But I started this time I will learn something ! This video really helped me with the pronunciation, but the sentence construction, I assume, was on a higher level than A1. I understand that the sentences were on a higher level to help with the reading details. Wow, it really helps to have translation websites to help with the meaning. As always, all good stuff. Merci.

Merciiiiii beaucoup. I have a question tho in "mercredi après-midi" why doesn’t the "s" of mercredi become z (liaison) since we have a vowel "a" coming after it?
I have no idea why - it's not something we natives learn at school - but it would sound very weird. I guess days fall under the category of what they call "liaisons interdites".
