I didn't understand how to use the pronouns y and en until I watched your videos. Alexa you're an incredibly gifted teacher. Your classes are so well thought out and they're really fun and enjoyable as well. You always explain everything in a way that is really clear to understand and you also have such a happy, kind and unpretentious demeanour. Thanks so for being such a wonderful teacher. I've been taking advantage of the lock down to learn French and your amazing classes and warm, glowing smiling face have been an enormous help during this crazy time we're living in.
It helps when there is a good instructor who is truly bilingual in French and English. I have watched a few French only videos from other instructors and it just didn't help.
The pronoun Y makes sense now. Merci beaucoup Madame ! For a long time, I didn't know why we used "y" in phrases like: "Allons-y" ou "On y va". Je n'ai compris. Now I have a better understanding. Does anyone know if she has a video talking about the differences between the two phrases?
Amazing video, I also see so much en and y together in sentences so how can they be used combined!! For example if you are going somewhere to eat something, how can we use them???
To make things a bit harder, there is also "penser de" and therefore "en penser" "Penser de ..." is having an opinion about something/someone Que penses-tu de son nouvel amoureux ? (What do you think of his/her new lover ?) J'en pense beaucoup de bien (I think highly of him)
You only use en if it is something, if it is someone you use the tonique lui Je pense hautement de lui (I think highly of him) Je voudrais vous parler de mes vacances = Je voudrais vous en parler (I want to talk to you about my vacation = I want to talk to you about it) Je te parle de lui = I am talking about him/her (to you)
DEAR ALEXA , some grammar rules like this one( y & n ) you teach amazingly and i learnt it completely but i don't know why i cant use it when i a am speaking , which way of practicing do you think , can solve my problem ?
@@sarbjeetgill4077 it means connection or link, basically when you pronounce letters that are normally silent, because of vowel collision (example: you can’t say a apple in English, we say an apple, the N is added to prevent vocal collision, in French liaison the N would be stressed for easier pronounciation ; ou êtes vous? (Where are you? Silent S for vous) , but in the question ‘ou est-ce que vous êtes?’ (Where is it that you are, a longer way to ask the same where are you question) , you do pronounce the S because of the liaison (you can’t say vou etes , it doesn’t run smoothly, so you say vouZet)
Hey Alexa! I love your videos and just wanted to say that practice is written with a C and not an A. Keep up the great work and dedication! Bisou bisou!
Sorry but practise is correct in other countries. Also depends on if it is a noun or a verb. Practise is the verb and practice is the noun, in the UK anyways. Many words have different spelling like apologise vs apologize. They are both correct and just depends on where you live or are from. Color vs colour; favorite vs favourite.
whenever i learn a new lesson on class, i will watch your channel that related with the topic that i've just learned. bc tbh ... i understand your lessons more than my lecturer's. lol

Merci.
Amazing video, I also see so much en and y together in sentences so how can they be used combined!! For example if you are going somewhere to eat something, how can we use them???
You need to learn the order of these pronouns. If talking about these two only, y comes before en.
Great lesson! Thanks.
Incredible teacher- thank you so much for sharing these vids.

Thank you. I learned more from you.😘 Godbless

Faites vidéo sur la sujet pronoms EN et Y avec futur proche. Merci
ma heroïne !!
si vous avez pas encore fait, vous pourriez faire une video sur la liaison?
Liaison meaning in english.

You are a very good teacher. Tres bon!
Bonjour Alexa, Merci pour cette video. Juste une remarque. La lettre 'y' s'enonce 'i grec ' et non pas {i}.
Je suis intéressant que vous enseignez très bon. Maintenant c'est claire. Pouvez vous me dire how to make a sentence properly in French?
Merci beaucoup!!!
Thank you for teaching me what my (objectively terrible) french teacher couldn't. :)

I HV one doubt. In the 5th question can we write ILS Y SONT instead of LES ELEVES Y SONT?
