neither the sandy or the kerenz slow anything down. all they do is up your reflexes and perceptions to the absolute max so it LOOKS like everything around you is slow,, but in reality you just perceive it that way.

I actually did a rewatch for myself of this series recently and I saw something that I didn't notice all my previous times watching. Maine didn't kill Dorio. I know that that scene is shot in such a way that makes that hard to tell, but if you go back and watch the scene where Dorio dies, Maine's gun isn't even pointing at her, he's shooing past her. It's the panicked cop on the ground behind her that gets a lucky shot, or, I guess an unlucky shot considering he gets turned into pizza topping by Maine for it.
Lucy and David are a very tragic couple. They want what's best for each other but also don't fully trust each other to know what's best for themselves. But it also puts into perspective how young they are. Probably both of their first actual relationship, and it all takes place within a year (yeah that's how much David chromed up lmao that was not a growth spurt). It makes me think about all the bad decisions and miscommunication I had in my first big relationship and I understand them a little more in that context.
My biggest gripe with Edgerunners is what kinda gear was Maine hauling that equipped Gorilla Arms AND Projectile Launch System simultaneously? Also - why can't I have it in the game? Every other piece of gear, weapon or location is right there in the game.

U got that wrong, Dorio didnt get killed by Mane, she injected him with immuneblocker and got shot by the cops.

No, Arasaka is after Lucy, not David. She's simply killing off her pursuers so they can't find her.
