Re: the comments about nudity - within the cyberpunk genre, the philosophy of transhumanism is always at play. People in this world don't see the naked body as something of value, which is partly why they modify it, alter it, improve it. Everyone is naked because nudity doesn't mean anything inherently sexual here. The body is not sacred.

I would not be surprised if she expeced the new guy to get himself killed, and if the new guy had done something to earn her ire, had in fact sent him expecting him to be killed. If you play the game, she is one of the people that gives you a lot of the side sigs, and even helps with giving information related to the main storyline.
I knew Wakako was legit when she started sending V after the damn Tyger Claws. They're her punks and she literally sent the grim reaper on their ass the second they get naughty. I mean I was always game to flatline Tygers as soon as I heard Jotaro's bio and their history with The Mox but - damn, Wakako that's brutal.
well... in the future universe, nakedness, even pornography in ads as a everyday occurence... just like back in the day ladies were not allowed to show ankle and nowadays hotpants are normal. not so hard to imagine a future, where it is possible to swap entire bodies, where nakedness is aligned with shame anymore. That I guess is the reason we see our characters so daring (I mean Rebecca basically just wears undergarments with a jacket thrown over and some boots... imagine donning your favorite sneakers and going out into town with just your pjs, kinda similar... and that is not in private, but in public. So they both being at home naked does not surprise me in the least. It is subtle world building and not "just" fanservice, although that obviously also plays into it. Just let it sink in that someone like Hanako Arasaka in the game or Rogue are in their 70s and 80s, but because of cyberware look way younger. appearances can be very decieving. Now thinking about it, a GITS SAC episode comes to mind where some company CEO chose a simple Jameson robot chassis as his new body, confusing everyone who spoke with him, since they mistook his servant who had a regular human body for the CEO and him, the actual CEO for the assistant Drone/robot/whatever. That is just master level trolling and pretty funny. Imagine Elon transferring his mind to something like a regular cleaning robot so he can escape the buzz and have his body alter ego stuffed with some poor schmuck who has to take the heat for him or rather his public persona. This is totally possible in cyberpunk futures like portrayed in CP or GITS SAC universe.
I am so glad someone noticed the dude being almost as fast as the sandy. It shows David isn't entirely special. it's just he modified his body to incorporate the different cybernetics to be more efficient. Also, the dude had a form of the sandi. Just not as fast.
It's either a sandy or a kerenzikov. What I got from that is that he has a sandy too, but David's new leg implant which allowed him to have another speed boost from a jump gave him the advantage. That leg implant is in the game too, it provides the user with a "power jump".
Honestly I feel the opposite. A dude that big, that chrome’d out, and all he can get is some cheap ass version while this kid from Sanyo Domingo rocks the real deal all day

Besides being chromed out they've also grown up in a world wear death and gore and sex have become the norm kinda like how its happening now a days as well. Being naked around one another is nothing
Not sure how long that time skip was, now that I think about it. All we know is that the show ends around a year before the start of the game in 2077. If that's the case, the time skip should, at most, have only been several months. Considering the game starts you as a nooby small time edgerunner and throws you off the deep end in only 6 months, it's not that far off to think the events of the show also happened in that short of a time. Of course, we have no way of knowing when the show actually started, but since the show's writers gave a "specific" age for the characters instead of a range of years spanning the show, I just assume it all happens within the same year.
