Coffee is the most important part of camping to me 🙌☕️
And very understandable! We should do a coffee making video together where we make it our own way and have a taste testers compare them!
Hey Mitch, nice video. We never thought about trying to make coffee because it seemed to much of a pain. Thanks for the tips might have to get that set up for our next camping trip.
Glad I inspired! Nothing hits the spot like a nice cup of coffee and watching the sunrise while camping! Would love to hear how you like it when you giveit a shot!
I use a Stanley French press for camp coffee, or I go instant (very choosey with the instant!), especially for backpacking. I bought a hand grinder that I tried a couple of camping trips ago, and it was nice having the fresh grind, though still debating whether it's worth dealing with, or if I should continue to just grind and measure at home. I like to use Verve coffee or something local, always a lighter roast for me! #VRAfam
I really wanna try a french press again! Not sure I did it right the last time I tried... Also wanna get into grinding them myself to see how much of a difference there is!
@@Meanderin_Mitch The taste of grinding your own beans can be significant, and you'll want a coarse grind if you try a French press. Grinding your own means you have way more control over them, and of course, they're fresher, which means better flavor. Using a French press can be a learning curve, as it takes time to figure out how much coffee to use and how to keep those grounds out of your coffee (even with the mesh strainer). I've been using one exclusively for almost 10 years now, and I doubt I will ever go back to a normal coffee maker!
@WanderingSwitchback yaaa when I've tried it I had a bunch of grinds in my coffee which is why I moved away from it! Sounds like it was user error on my part😅
Can you let me know how I can get the pans on Tiktok? It looks really easy to use and I like simple😊
I will make a video walking ya through just that!
