D2K Arcade - Game 1 - Intellivision

Hi,
Yes it was played on a PAL system.
I noticed too it runs slower compared to NTSC but as you stated that's to be expected.
I did not notice the sound effects to be higher pitched.
This has become my favourite Intellivision game.

I'm guessing this was played on a PAL Intellivision system. It's definitely slower (expected), and the sound effects are higher-pitched (unexpected).
