@@heyheymymind1939 Johnny Marr used the ce2...you can't go wrong with it, but if you want a more apparent chorus for other dream-pop stuff the Strymon Ola can do the job or also using a ce2 along with the detune of the Boss ps6 (even better the hr2); another thing I used to do was using 2 chorus with slightly different settings. What other chorus you have? Btw I used the neck pickup of my Fender strat blacktop HH (alnico V humbuckers), direct into my pc.
@@lovecraftmusic8717 thanks for the input, actually I don’t have any other chorus pedal, but I looked into the Double chorus trying to get an atypical chorus sound, but there aren’t so much demos around and that could be a good thing, I also was watching the black pedal mini vintage chorus and sounds really good
@@heyheymymind1939 the double chorus is surely atypical as it has multiple delay lines unlike standard chorus that has only one. For a cheaper option look into the Tc corona: it has a trichorus setting, plus you can choose from the toneprints or edit your own king of chorus from the pc editor (but I warn you it is a pain in the ass). Imo opinion you would be better served stacking 2 chorus pedals; get another one from a friend and try if you like this way.
I already got a CE 2, do you recommend this pedal?
Depends what you're looking for... It's a total different beast than a ce2. It is very unique and thick.
@@lovecraftmusic8717 I’m looking to play kind of Johnny marr riffs and dream pop, btw your clean tone sounds awesome, what’s your rig or amp used?
