I was dirty, I grabbed some wood left on a building site 😂. Wood is a bloody mint here (Scotland.) We cut down our lengths , doubled up where needed and added an entrance step up portion that was attached with a hinge and used a cut off as a stopper to let me know when I was at the edge. The hinged piece would be what you have now and the car would drive up then drive onto a higher diy ramp. The hinge was so I could open the initial ramp out of the way by opening out. Lowered cars need extra care and loads of maintenance. Great job! There is no need to overpay at Halfords (Chief? O'reilly's for US I think?) when you can just make some that last longer.
Do what we have to do! I would love some low carb ramps, but they are too long and wouldnt fit nice in my car. They would be perfect for the house. But if I get a flat tire on the side of the road, I need something then and there! Not the prettiest, but 100% functional 😂
