I remember him talking about the blind school and he still had a small amount of sight left and one if the staff hit him and he said after that he lost the last bit of sight he had.
The first time I remember hearing this song was in 1981. My late husband and I had just gotten married in June of 1980. I became a Ronnie Milsap fan then and there. I lost my husband of 41 years 3 months ago to a heart attack here at home. He'd gotten up in the middle of the night and I found him on the living room floor the next morning. Coroner estimated he'd been gone about 8 hours. I was.....and still am.....in shock! Anyone out there reading this that is a praying individual, please say a prayer for me!
Praying for you. Our Lord is BIGGER than death remains to have the AWESOME POWER to raise HIS CREATION to LIFE ONCE AGAIN so do NOT DESPAIR THE SAME POWER THAT RAISED JESUS IS THE SAME POWER AVAILABLE FOR HIS CREATION. Trust HIM not your good works.
@@jamesgedenberg3692 Thank you for your prayers! The holidays approaching is causing me to feel gloomy.....depressed. Jim and I haven't been apart for Christmas in 43 years. New Years Eve will be especially hard for me as that will mark the first year without him. I know with the help from our Lord, he will get me through this 🙏 🙏🙏 I also know that if I remain true to God, I will see him again when it's my time to be called home!!! I ❤️ love and miss you Jim!!!! 😔 😥😥😪😪🙏🙏

Please ask him if he remembers my Grandfather, pastor Ronald Holland and my grandmother, Bessie Holland. I've heard so many great stories about him when he was young and I know my ancestors aren't lying!! I've been told that he was named after my Grandfather that was the pastor of his grandmothers church but have no proof......only what I've been told.
I got to see Ronnie live many years ago. He was a country singer who was ahead of his time. He took the torch from Glen Campbell and B.J. Thomas and blazed his own path!
