    Matt originally ghostwrote this for another band. It wasn't used, so he recorded it himself with programmed drums in 2014. The band later recorded it with tweaked lyrics for their 2017 album.
    They kinda shed their metalcore sound by 2006. I wouldn't call them one of the big metalcore acts. They've always been changing their sound and these days are pretty unique.

    Hahaha..dude checkout their older masterpiece song from album ascendancy title pull harder on the string of your martyr and you'll know how good theyre and got a name and attention on the music scene that came out pass 17/18 years ago.pretty closed similar band like them at that time is bullet for my valentine also big name in the scene ✌️

    Its so crazy to me you havent heard triviums stuff before, always such a vibe but i totally get why some people dont like them.

    Dude you need to check out more trivium, they kick ass and put on a killer show! Their album ‘In the court of the dragon’ is a masterpiece

    This is actually one of their "worst" songs imo, they have a much wider range of songs to choose from, this particular song was basically like a filler song for the album, nothing too crazy, pretty standard song structure. They have way more progressive and catchier/heavier songs! I recommend their song from their newest album "Crisis of Revelation", Love the reactions! P.S: they're not really "metalcore" anymore. They lost that sound years ago!
