"There's no good version of me." This quote hits really hard after what we saw in episode seven. The scene is sad however I'm really glad Jinx is wishing Vi happiness.
11:03 Just you know, this is the TAMED VERSION! THE FULL SCENE IS OUT THERE! THE REASON THEY WENT WITH THIS IS BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT TO CHANGE THE RATING!
It kinda makes sense why Sevika and majority of Zaun walked away. Years of fighting each other won't just wash away and you can't expect them to unite from all that.
5:36 - To be fair, Jinx probably didn’t know any of the council was there when she shot the rocket. Think about it, Jayce called the council for an emergency meeting, meaning at any other time, that room would have been empty. For all Jinx knew, she was firing at an empty room representing the cause of a large chunk of her psychological trauma.
CaitVi fans are eating good, kind of like Vi finally got to eat her Cupcake. A bit of an odd time and place, but I can't complain. It's just perfect, the passion, tenderness, little bits of characterization, and details that show just how much they missed each other.
Vi held back a lot of things because she needed to find Jinx. after getting betrayed by Jinx and given her blessing for actully trying to have a happy life free from guilt, and then to see Cait come and show that she still likes and trusts her, it was the release and indulgence she'd want for a while
what is odd about lesbian sex in a prison cell? :-) Also Riot Games asked them to ton the scene down, so yes there is a director's cut out there somewhere.
Vi literally thought that her sister tricked her. Not that she's suicidal. Vi haters are either watching this show with their eyes and ears closed or their brains needs some wrinkles.
Part of me was hoping what Jayce saw was a misunderstanding, a different reality of different outcomes and not the future. But after seeing that white and gold soilder. It confirms straight-up he saw the future.
@@jogadorjnc Like Yahtzee said in his Bioshock: Infinite critique: "He was pointed as the guy who was going to fuck everyone up, so he's forced to fuck everyone up after everyone (Jayce) turns on him for being the guy that will fuck everyone up". In all fairness, what we saw seemed to be pretty peaceful, but it was always hinted that Viktor's "healing" wasn't all that innocent. Jayce tried to stop something that would probably eventually happen, but it only accelerated it.
Ladies and Gentlemen... The Mistress Mage of Piltover, the Baddest Woman to SERVE... Mel Medarda. Edit: I'm surprised Caitlyn and Vi didn't make it echo in that cell.
I really liked the confrontation between Caitlyn and Jinx. Caitlyn admitting that she's grown tired of hating Jinx, and saying "our crimes,' acknowledging her own faults and mistakes. And Jinx was much more honest with Caitlyn then I expected, admitting that it probably wouldn't have changed anything if she had known Caitlyn's mother was there, but it wasn't a personal attack. It says a lot about Ambessa that she rants to Mel about how unfair mages are, while at the same time allying with a powerful mage in Viktor and is planning to use his magically created super soldiers in an invasion to make him even more powerful so that he can enhance as many of her soldiers as possible. In the end, Ambessa craves power for herself, hating and fearing those who have more than she does.
League players: This isn't Viktor. He's a genocidal maniac in League Viktor: I have decided to stop giving a fuck. Glorious Evolution time baby! League: Oh see now THERE'S VIKTOR
The Vi and Cait scene seems so wrongly placed. Jinx just implied to her sister she is going to commit suicide and we know Vi is all about helping Jinx so it dosn't really fit her to get distracted by a cupcake .
The only real critique i had with this episode is that, when Jayce accurately calls out Mel for her part in all of these disasters, the show feels like it sides with Mel and Jayce immediately folds when challenged. She manipulated Jayce, used him for her own benefit, and piled power and responsibility on him far faster than he was prepared to handle. She was also the first person to encourage Jayce and Viktor to make Hextech weapons, only to hypocritically do a complete 180 when Ambessa advocated for the same thing. Admittedly, I'm biased because i dislike Mel as a character but i was never really able to get over her hypocrisy and complete lack of accountability.
Been waiting to hear this reaction since Saturday because of THE SCENE. CODEWORD ECHO The show runners have said Riot Games asked them to tone down THE SCENE because they were afraid it would effect THE GAME's age rating. So yes, there is a Director's Cut that is much longer and more revealing. Damn, The French get freaky with some water colors.
I can't think of a better sex scene then what we saw in this episide. I don't know how the fandom can deserver anyhing more. Years of waiting, a season of wondering if our hearts will get their desire and then we get this amazing sensual kind loving funny scene. Absolutely fucking nailed it.
Finally vi and cait got some action , i jumped out of my chair like during the world cup finals. Big sis scored big. Both did. Deserved. And yeah humans tend to start reproducing before wars start. Even tho 2 ladies cant get a child ;)
I’m sure u already say the final but since I don’t want to spoil I will just say that Victor just wanted to talk n see Jace’s memory to understand him. Jace only wants to destroy everything n everyone connected to hexthec. If u know how the series end u know if vector would had continued grabbing Jace n seeing into him the show would had ended here on alot more peaceful manner, the war may not even happen without victors help. The Vi and Cait scene was a long time coming. I heard many people say they didn't like it and that it felt forced but I disagree. I think it was built up pretty well.
And tbh, how many times have we had like heroes and their lovers have like a sex scene at their lowest and before like a final battle? Not the first time.
@redfire1186 Indeed. Most people I heard complaining were saying that Vi should be chasing after Jinx to stop her from commiting suicide. However, what many fail to realize is that Vi at that time has absolutely no clue of what Jinx is actually planning to do. Then Cait walks in and finds her, letting her know that it was her plan to let Vi rescue Jinx by lowering the security. This assures Vi that Cait has finally managed to let go of her hatred for Jinx. It doesn't mean that Cait has forgiven Jinx of course, only that her love for Vi is stronger and managed to let go of hate and embrace a positive emotion instead. We also knew from before that both of them missed each other a lot. Cait only went with Maddie to try and cope with her breakup and the fact that she was becoming a dictator essentially. Vi was out there beating people up to forget and even then she couldn't forget of Cait. It was clearly something they both wanted all season and the situation was pretty ideal for what they were doing. I mean, Cait made sure there were no guards there for a reason beyond Jinx escaping right? At least I like to imagine that's the case.
Ngl didnt like the caitvi scene. Not because its gay like some will say but because Jinx is literally on her way to khs and alluded to it pretty heavily and Vi's first instinct after getting free is to do...that.
Ekko Coming from someone who was really rooting for CaitVi, the sex scene was super out of place and made no sense. Like your sister just ran away, is clearly in a depressed state and hinted at killing herself. Yet you're prioritizing sex while still in her jail cell. And Caitlyn taking the guards away from the prison cell because she knew Vi would try to break Jinx out is yet another case of Caitlyn abusing her status. And on top of it all, I know nobody cares for Maddie but cheating is still a shitty thing to do. The whole scene just felt like fanservice in the laziest way possible and I expected better from this show. If you're making ME complain about watching two hot women having sex, you know you did some shit wrong. Still love the show but that scene was a huge mistake imo.

The issue i have the the sex scene was the timing. Like, Vi knows jinx is going to do something bad, but rather than finding her, she goes for sex.
Sex is pretty great.
Hot take the Vi and Cait scene was unnecessary and did not need to be as long as it was.
in an interview apparently it was way longer but had to be cut down because of ratings…. they really got freaky in that prison cell
