Idaho Viking: Jet Boating Hells Canyon

Jet boating the Snake River in Hells Canyon. Big rapids for big fun! Boat is a 21 foot Hells Canyon Marine with GM 6.2DI engine and Hamilton 212 pump with 3.4 impeller. Flow is 30K CFS, which is relatively high for spring snow melt.

Cleetus McFarland is coming to Idaho to go jet boating on the Salmon River, in case you didn’t know. It would be cool if y’all could collaborate with him and get him to go to Hell’s Canyon. I used to live in Lewiston and it’s obviously beautiful. I sent him a DM and told him there were jet boats in Hell’s Canyon. It might be better if y’all reach out, if you want, to see if he has time. I am in Mississippi now but I’m planning on heading up there in late summer. When do y’all stop running? Take care.
