my viewer saved 1000 wishes to get c6 cyno and his weapon... it started out bad, but my Luck turned around quickly!

Also, you’ve obviously never seen someone with a REAL gambling addiction, because it doesn’t manifest in joy when they “win”. It manifests relief, and then they keep playing: go to your local Casino, and go take a look around the slot machines, you’ll find them: a soul-crushing weight on their shoulders, and barely a smile when they win, because they’re still behind.
Props to Mtashed for trying to persuade the guy. Not a lot of content creators would do the same. Mad respect to that guy honestly. I'm a welkin + battle pass player too but I don't see myself going for a C6 + R5 intentionally as I love experimenting with characters more than playing just 1 unit.
I'm a Welkin player and I have a C3 Raiden with her weapon. I got C1 or her first banner and C3 and weapon on her rerun. I'll always pull when she's on the banner.
Getting C6 is not that hard, getting the R5 weapon is a bit trickier and kinda pointless in terms of power.
But I would never save 1000 wishes to get a C6, you can easily do it over time with reruns. Why skip a ton of characters and get bored over a year just for bragging rights.
Also, most people will not even believe him he's only Welkin + BP when they see C6 R5 in co-op

I honestly got C2 Zhongli with just 90+ pulls on his rerun banner, won 3 50/50 in a row. It all came down to luck even tho C6 ing a 5 star maybe took a year
A lot of people are missing my point. All I said was I would probably never go for C6 character + R5 (talking about 5 star characters and their signature weapons) because I like playing different characters every once in a while. I maxed out most of my characters to lvl 90 with lvl 6-8 talent, move around my artifacts and try out different team comps in the abyss. That's the kind of traveler that I am. I didn't say that getting a C6 + R5 is hard (because it's totally feasible especially for a battle pass + welking player) or weak or not worth it. I also said that I respect the guy (the player who Mtashed wished for) because it takes a lot of patience and will power to save up for a year to achieve this.
@@rbtussin I don't know what part of stupid town they blew in from but I get what you're saying. Also you don't need a c6r5 to complete the game, it's literally just them showing off at that point.

yeah its true, i have OCD and when there is a character i liked so much and want to main it, i want it to be at its max potential. i like cyno so much but i didnt save for him, so i rerolled for him, and got cyno + his weapon at 22 wishes, now im gonna unlock inazuma sumeru etc and get as much primogem as possible and go for c2
@Olive Don't, people tend to post what worked well for them but not what didn't. They will rather post a double 5 star in a 10 pull than a lost 50/50 obviously and these posts also get hyped up more so you see them more than bad luck posts. Also, as Mtashed said, he could've gotten so many new characters with these pulls. I understand his decision but now he has one very good character but not much more. I don't think you'd be more satisfied with someone elses account than yours long term. Even everything c6 r5 gets boring quickly.

@@toriwolf5978 if you logged in daily, do events, web events, explore (at least oculus and some chest, doesn’t need to 100% it) welkin& bp. in a patch you can get like 60 primos at minimum.

I am doing the same thing saving for itto C6...if we already have 36star abyss teams we better save for a C6 unit
@@Regulus37 Average luck would probably let you C6 with enough wishes that you could conceivably R5 still, but you'd have to get fairly lucky to do so. Weapon banner luck is a bit all over the place.

Once we got to the weapon banner I got emotionally invested into this. Seen those polls hit the 50-50 wins felt like it was my own wins. I am so happy this player is able to make a perfect Cyno now. I hope they enjoy.

There is a bundle that gives 8000 crystals.
160000/8000=20
U need 20 of those bundles.
Each bundle is 100$
So 2000$ total.

that self control to save up 1000 wishes is insane, i just reached 100 wishes saving for a month and i cant imagine doing that for a whole year

They could've had more, it isn't just the 1000. You notice in the video he pulls a Heizou(anemo catalyst punch boy) and it was already C6 who came out 2 months ago, so they did some spending.
Saved up a whole year BP and welkin account, yet somehow he had a C6 Heizou which came out like 2 patches ago, hmmm… kinda sus.

@@Katinnity bruhh heizou was added to standard banner in 3.0. Even if you wish a 1000 times you may not be able to C6 them from standard banner like Lisa, kaeya, amber. Also why would a welkin bp player wish in 3.0 knowing that tighnari would be added in 3.1.

I definitely respect him going for the C6 R5 but I know I definitely would’ve taken that C6 R1 with 490 wishes left and called it a day happily love how MTashed was really trying to get him to think about it first very happy he was able to get and still have 20 wishes leftover amazing luck in the 2nd half of the pulls!! I wasn’t even planning on pulling for Cyno myself but I played that archon and story quests and that changed fast kinda sad I tapped into my Hu Tao re-run funds but I was more than happy to get him C0 R1 in 90 wishes with no guaranteed pity back down to 260 wishes in the bank but I’ll get it back 😂

Thats the best mind set to be honest. I'm buying welkin but I'm fine with C0 units, since the game is very easy. The worst part about those C6 units is that they are so powerful that you literally don't play the game because everything dies in seconds.
@@sera8648 I wanted to do this as well but I think there is more worth in getting new characters than investing in constellations. Hell, I just cleared the new abyss with c0 Ei and the catch. Any big gameplay changes are on 4 and 6 const anyway so if you want to invest into a character its better to wish for a weapon, which you can use on other units.

I've also had insane luck with Cyno and his weapon. I got Cyno about 30 wishes after Ganyu and within 5 wishes of that I also got his weapon. This banner has been really something for me. I wasn't going to wish for Cyno initially but I tested him and his playstyle seemed really fun and different and so I decided to go for it. Unfortunately it'll be quite some time before I'm able to fully build him and start using him but I'm happy to have atleast gotten a limited time character and their weapon.

for anyone looking to know more about gw2 from an actual long time player of that game, I can 1000% recommend it cause old content is never invalidated, been playing since Heart of Thorns released which was years ago and it is definitely a solid game, also gear is all side grades to each other depending on your choice of build
