It’s not that hard once you have the map unlocked, theres around 70 on the map that i’ve found so far and they respawn every 2 days (horrible) so it takes less than a week to 90 him if you get every single scarab once they respawn

I got some scarabs from my friends, and one of them hasn't opened sumeru map yet, so yeah I start from the chasm to the desert
I found at least 25 from different locations, then waited an hour for people to unlock the map and went to different worlds to farm them

and with cyno, if you have low base atk weapon you should go with EM sands and if you have a high base atk weapon you should go with atk% sands. due to his 4th ascension passive
ohhh wait that's really good to know. dumb question, but should i still do EM sands if i dont use in aggravate comp...? LOL. i have him on a gladiator's 4pc /deathmatch with tragically no EM T_T

I have a recommendation, Candace with hp% artifacts and two piece tenacity is a insane damage booster for all elemental damage. You just use her ult and your damage skyrockets, if you have c2 and double hydro it allows your main DPS to destroy.

dendro reaction not only scale with em but also level so i'd suggest levelling electro's to level 90 if you wish to maximise damage, lvl 89 is also a good stopping point, id suggest same treatment for dendro characters like tighnari

I went with Double hydro Candace/Xingqiu and Kuki as healer with Cyno as main dps, he sure does more damage with Aggravate, but MC doesnt apply dendro fast enough in my opinion and Cyno basics are pushing mobs away, often out of the MC circle. So i much prefer him in a taser comp until we get a better Dendro support **Looking at you Al Haitham 👀**
We need another dendro char who can apply dendro like Xingqiu or Fishl do with their element, I knew I wasn't a noob trying to make a burning comp with Collei to see how effective it is.

The hypercarries I use in my two teams are Itto and cyno, it was such a pain to get those insects for the ascension
the thing is the world quest needed to unlock the underground is also what unlocks the thing that gives you access to the puzzles u have in the desert

I got Cyno around AR30 and I had barely unlocked the first part of Sumeru. It was hell going thru the entire of Tirzad's quest and unlocking all the waypoints on another acc. When is Mihoyo going to add a skip dialogue button 😭

That sand bug is hard to find, I only managed to get him to lvl 50
There are official interactive maps for Genshin that show you the location of every farmable mats. Also there are vids on youtube that show you the locations for ~ 80 scaracs in like 10-15min or so. There are such vids for basically every character's ascension mats btw and they usually get uploaded within the first 1~2 days of their release.

Excellent vid! Although I've found Gilded 4 set is much higher damage overall than TF for him.
for dmg per screenshot yes but the main benefit of TF on Cyno is the cooldown time hit the E when the eye comes up every time
@@gianlucakasai7249 comparing the two, it really doesn’t take much off of the time, you get maybe an extra half a second between each E, and the same amount of E hits per ult. Moreover, if you’re ER is about 130, you’re honestly fine. Cyno is meant to be played with a Dendro user and a battery, and I wish TF did that for him more than GD but it just doesn’t.

as a cyno main, he really requires a lot of patience. for the scarabs mainly,
if you just give him a good enough weapon (fricking blackcliff should be good for him) either 4pc thundering fury or 4pc gilded, with atk or er, electro dmg and crit, and he honestly can hit like a truck. give him dendro lumine or nahida if you have her, any hydro applier and a shield or grouper and you have a cyno that can potentially clear floor 12.

Do the gilded artifact set, he does insane amounts of damage, and you wanna have at least 350~ EM. Hyperbloom is op when it comes to this. Read the reactions list ingame. He's an insane dps, idk why people are trippin' on him.

Interactive map has them marked, i just marked all scrabs on the map and did the mission to unlock the underground tunnels and i can get around 50 scrabs every run in like 30 mins or so

I think you misunderstood crit rate to crit damage ratio, the crit rate ideally needs to be proportional to the crit damage (1/2), for example, to have 50% chance to hit a crit with 200 crit damage you would need a 100 crit rate, or, with 50 crit damage, you would need 25% crit rate, and so on.
(sorry if I've made grammar mistakes i'm still learning english as I'm not a native speaker)

i don’t know if anyone knows this but when cyno walks, you can hear his feet patter on the floor. usually when other characters walk you can hear their shoes but since he doesn’t have any, you hear his pies

Just started genshin impact but. Got dendro mc qinglung and cyno Noelle for shield. The dendro reacts are insane
I don’t know if somebody has said it yet or if it’s still relevant, but I’ll just leave this here.
So the reason you wanna run Thundering Fury on Cyno is because you wanna spam your E in reaction teams, waiting for the eye to use your E is actually a waste. When you do your setup, you need to do his E first and then Q (mainly because more particles outside of burst, and the cooldown still gets reduced even if you use it outside of burst) and then immediately press E when you get it again, then do AAs then you press E another time and then AAs again and then finally another time when you get eye proc. So essentially the 4pc Thundering Fury helps you get CD reduction and you can spam your E more.
Generally if you play it right (causing a reaction like aggravate) you get 2 normal Es before the first eye, no extra E before the second eye and 1 extra normal E before the third eye and this is where it’s recommended to switch to your supports and redo the rotation unless staying on Cyno will finish the rest of the enemies.

oh yes, the tideous process of collecting scarabs and disappointment in your artifacts :D
tl;dr if I'm too bold to suggest, since you got the weapon, use Skyward Spine on him, trust me, you will love his attack speed.
Long explanation is despite that Staff of Homeless is superior in DMG and crit DMG, SS offers at rank 1 8% crit rate and 12% Normal attack speed plus the vacuum blade effect that, unlike Raiden on her burst, he can pretty much proc and use comfortably.
The idea of trading raw DMG for well, more DPS, it's also because of energy issues despite that he is often paired with another electro, it's a loss of DPS if Cyno it's your only main dealer or active character and doesn't have his ult ready, it happens to me often with single target enemies or bosses, also in the overwoold since all of his power is behind his burst, you don't wanna waste on trash mods even if is so fun to use, everything dies too quickly and doesn't last long enough to generate enough particles, so it's inconvenient for the next battle without his burst up, Skyward Spine fixes this with enough ER to comfortable have his burst uptime almost all time, even if is not fully charged with a couple of prep skills of your supports he can get his burst faster rather than wait for their CDs while running Staff of Homa.
Regardless of all of that, his peak performance will always be superior with the other staff, if you have it good, if not then Skyward Spine got you covered, as for the ones who has Raiden thankfully she has the Catch, it's the most tailored weapon for her and that it almost matches Skyward Spine in DMG and utility so doesn't hurts to take SS away from her.
I love Cyno, the voice actor is Latino and it sounds so good, I'm not a feet lover, I actually find it conflicting when involved in nsfw stuff, but I do love how his steps sounds on the sand and on everything else really, it's a detail that wasn't necessary, nor expected to have but I really like it.
My new fear is seeing more Cyno mains coming into my world to help them look for this thing
I think he must be lvl90 for maximal reaction dmg, so he's not that cheap to build

thundering fury decreases the cd of his elemental skill when he does a reaction so that is why it seems like you are spamming the skill. Original cd is 3sec in his burst mode.
i suggest you use hyperbloom team instead bc, cyno likes do deal a shit load of kb, oftentimes youll find yourself outside the range of the traveler burst, but hydro dmc burst increases the aoe by *a lot*, you should replace fischl with yelan
and for the love of god build traveler, mines half built and he still deals most of the damage from my teams, he has 4 7 6 talents, 2pc deepwood, lvl 80 and average/underaverage artifacts as well as a harbinger and he rarely does less than 10k with his skill
The ft domain loves me so i got good artifacts for him
I cant even get a crit damage circlet from the emblem of severed fate domain after 1500 artifacts and you get some of the nastiest rolled pieces... this game man
Also, while fischl does solid damage, she eats away at the dendro application of DMC. I know its not the best but try running albedo instead, the damage isnt comparable between fischl and albedo but you get a more fluid team that stays in play as long as cyno does, better shield and more damage from geo resonance, and albedo does give some em before you go into cyno for more damage.

there is still a lot more to do to unlock the rest, but not to get mats.
Litteraly modcheck your tc like sacrifie easely 50% dc for 20% at 40% tc and you make more damage on your rotation. Cause i dont know if you know it but the dc is a dead stats without em and tc for aggravate and atq and tc during the non réactions time of cyno. So right now your cyno in average dps have like 2/3 or even the half of the dps of a well build 80% 90% tc 200 dc cyno
farming scarabs are literally harder than farming artifacts :

Took me a bit over a week to get him and Candace to Level 70 without going to peoples worlds. I am terrified to go for 80 let alone 90.

White Tassel is genuinely good om Cyno, like no joke, better than many 4 stars because he scales massively on EM and less on Attack.
Skyward Spine is really good on Cyno its what I ran on him until i got his 5 star weapon, gives a lil crit rate on its effect
