Wow! Amazing customs! The paint-apps, the clothing - everything is extremely well done. I actually shortened the fingers of the Hand of Doom the same way, but now you gave me the idea to smooth down the tips.
Hey So I've had my 1000Toys Hellboy for a good while now and when I first received him and started messing with him, his right arm began to squeak really badly. Ever since then I've been really scared to pull off his hand because I'm nervous I've damaged his arm somehow, and I'm scared that if I pull it off it's going to break. I want to remove the hand to remove the jacket and pose him and add other stuff to it, but this has prevented me from doing so. Do you know of any good solutions for any of this? Thanks for the vid, man! Keep it up!
Thanks! so, I understand that your Right arm piece makes a sound of plastic friction when you move it around? That might be temperature, or yout Hellboy Figure came too thight in the joints. Maybe try to put the arm in boiling water to make it loose for removal, then proceed with sandpaper to remove some friction in the socket.
@@dovahkruz You pretty much hit the nail on the head! When I first got it. I tried using a heat gun to remove it and it just sounded like it got worse and worse. Someone else reached out to me about doing that same process, which I'm going to try at some point today. Would you personally recommend that? Or would it be better to try the hot water method? Thank you so much for the fast response BTW
@@garrettmasters7281 Personally I prefer the water than the hair dryer, mainly for the "control" it provides 🤔 but you could try the 2 methods if you want
@@dovahkruz so I am currently trying the hot water method. It doesn't seem to be working. To make it even worse the entire right arm popped off at the shoulder. I tried the blow dryer too and it didn't seem to work much either.
@@garrettmasters7281 Interesting, do you live in a cold weather city? My Hellboy came a bit hard/stiff but the water works fine for me and I live in a very hot city 🤔
Those look sweet
