I have a question for you all, what do you think would happen if a nuke was dropped directly on one of these corpses, since they drain all heat instantly???
Actually by that description they totally adhere to the laws of thermodinamycs. They are practically what is called a heat source, an object with virtually infinite thermic capacity that is capable of giving or taking heat without changing its temperature. The anomaly lies in the fact that generally heat sources are pretty big in size to reach the "infinite" thermic capacity, so a corpse wouldn't normally be one.
Spoiler. At the end off Scp-Eastaides video on this I think it showed that there are millions off bodies up there ready to come back scary as Hell. Respect and keep up the epic work.
_"Everest is known for its cold temperatures, occasionally reaching as low as 1*F"."_ - That's obviously not right. Looking it up, it's the base camp that gets that cold in the coldest months. Everest's summit itself can hit around -40 (same in either scale) in the cold months on average, and that doesn't account for windchill either. On the coldest, windiest days it can hit effectively -70C (Around -90F). Seriously, even if the fact checking can get a bit weak for these YT videos, anything that's obviously incorrect should be worth double checking, right?
@@beckyanderson988 You're forgetting that the world is closely based on our own (or I think in some versions, is our own, ostensibly). There is no particular reason why Everest in particular would be so much warmer, but still described as being 'known for its cold temperatures'. It's a whole lot more plausible that the people writing the script for the video just did a dumb.
Ahh a scp based on the first ever group of people to ever ACTUALLY summit the mountain. The legend goes that while the other 2 who made it died and their bodies were found, the one who made it first was never found which is true but they say that he's still alive today lol. Or at the very least that he survived and lived on the mountain till he died.
I swear this SCP was originally written because someone looked at Everest and thought of the "Ever rest" pun. But I do love the twist that the majority of the mountain is comprised of bodies, more than the total humans that have lived. It is a fun Junji Ito-esque twist.
Fun Fact: the dead bodies in the area they are found in are mostly found on or near the Dead Zone, where the the air is too thin for human survival. Another fact: This is one of the many entries on the platform that follow an updated class system. You can still label some things as Safe, Euclid, Keter, etc. They fall under the "Containment Class". There is also Risk Classes and Disruption Classes, which talk about the level of harm and probability of affecting society, respectively. For this one, It has a Disruption Class of Keneq (A 3 on a scale of 1-5 1=Dark/No chance and 5=Amida/Global disruption), and Risk Class of Caution/Danger (in other words, a 4 or 3 on a scale of 1-5. 1=Notice/very little and 5=Critical/You will die) The Containment class for this one is Keter
For anyone who may go there, you should retrieve any bodies you find because some of them aren’t dead and are just frozen into a death like paralysis. Where they aren’t dead, but can’t speak or move. There are a few survivor stories where they managed to live because a passerby helped them and warmed them up with them in their tents/at their fires. So if you can, you should take the body and try to heat them up and help. :)
Do you do all of the thumbnail art? Because it is really good!! I would just really like to say great work! You have really good videks and I love watching these! I love learning about The scp foundation. I hope you have a great day!😁💖
I wonder what would happen if the SCP foundation removed the bodies using mechanical or otherwise indirect means and then attempted to destroy them. Perhaps through incineration? Or what about shooting the “corpses” in the head or otherwise destroying them? Would it be possible to “kill” them again, hopefully permanently? I think at the very least they should use indirect methods to acquire and study one of the instances in order to determine the cause/method of action of the SCP.

you explain having 1,234,572,dead people making up a mountain. Why? How? 1.2 trillion dead people??? what? And that is using average weight of a human. How? Even with animal corpses that is a steep thing. the Percentage should be in the single digits or decimals.
You forgot to mention how the amount of corpses is far, far larger than could have possibly existed in the history of humanity's proximity to the mountain. Like, in the billions.
I had once gone to my Everest and all the way upto the top I had 29 bodies being only halway buried in the snow.. It still scares me knowing that one of the obstacles right in front of me and the group was a man without his head covered facing towards us

WHY DO I RECOGNIZE THIS NARRATOR!? I CANT REMEMBER WHICH HORROR NARRATOR HE IS AND ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!!
it's HitHearHunter, mentioned in the description.
Charlie’s story is still terrifying
What makes this scp so scary is that it is not far from reality because the mountain is grow through all the people which die there every year
Though the SCP takes it to an absurd degree. With the big twist being that 40% of the mountain's mass is of dead bodies.
You're forgetting that David's videos are about a fictional world that has things like Scps
One of the saddest things is the knowing if you are dying or need help, expect no fellow climber to help you...
For this one, It has a Disruption Class of Keneq (A 3 on a scale of 1-5 1=Dark/No chance and 5=Amida/Global disruption), and Risk Class of Caution/Danger (in other words, a 4 or 3 on a scale of 1-5. 1=Notice/very little and 5=Critical/You will die)
The Containment class for this one is Keter
First SCP-1529, now this, boy, Mount Everest really does NOT like to be climbed.
Man, I am just so goddamn excited to spend the rest of my life never climbing Mt. Everest
I think this video makes lot of Mountain Everest climber change their minds

Do you do all of the thumbnail art? Because it is really good!! I would just really like to say great work! You have really good videks and I love watching these! I love learning about The scp foundation. I hope you have a great day!😁💖
They're a team so i'm sure the thumbnails are all original indeed
0:22 the corpse is like "I know I'm supposed to be dead but I must dance!"
1:46 there is something grotesquely funny about the stand-in blablabla voice when the characters are talking about deaths, tragic events and impending death of the universe scenarios.

You know there's Another SCP anomaly based on Mt. Everest, though I can't remember his designation. According to SCP Exploration, he believes a real life mountaineer who disappeared became 096 in The Foundation universe after encountering the self proclaimed "King of the Mountain", which I think is the Articles title. Maybe He's responsible for 5140.
(Edit: His designation's SCP-1529)
scp-1529 is the king of the mountain's designation
Yes. That is what the tale says.
you explain having 1,234,572,dead people making up a mountain. Why?

It still scares me knowing that one of the obstacles right in front of me and the group was a man without his head covered facing towards us
@Joseph Hitler "without his head covered" probably meant that it was totally uncovered by any snow or clothing
Considering the fact that you have to be 18 to climb Mount Everest and you can't spell for shit, you're a liar.
"every dead body on everest was once a very motivated person"
Is it possible that SCP:1527 "the mountain king" and SCP: hhhhhh are connected?what if the corpses are just the climbers who refused a painless end and the heat is directed to MK to keep him alive?sounds reasonable enough
