Initiative is an AWESOME mechanic! I built a whole 5 color deck around it. I love how a lot of the initiative cards have ETB or attack triggers, so its super easy to double or triple them up. Plus the rewards for completing a dungeon are really good!
Do you have a decklist for this 5colour initiative deck? I've been looking for a fun initiative/dungeon deck, and I couldn't make it work! Would love to see your deck for inspiration!
@@KnucklesGum Most of the initiate mechanics are ETB or attack triggers, and the payoffs are amazing, so with myriad, Panharmonicon and Isshin among others, its not uncommon to delve 10 times or more in a round. The Undercity has that 'Target opponent loses 5 life,' and between delving ten times and having Dungeon delver doube the effect, Ive drained opponents for 20 life in one around. Imagine delving when a Tomb of Horrors Adventurer has copied your Panharmonicon 2 times. Slap a blade of selves, swing, and youre venturing over 9 times in a single round. Throw down dungeon delving, snd then its 9 times twice as effective. Its awesome. Use Mike (who is the bomb flavor wise) to sack snd recur your ETB initiative guys, or to keep bringing back selfless spirit and others to protect your board forever.
I have a mono-U Initiative deck built around the companion for Doctor Who named Adric, Mathematic Genius. I wanted a very different Mono-U deck & thought it would be funny to run a companion without The Doctor. I use cards like Paradox Haze, Strionic Resonator & even Adrix's ability, which is a blue Strionic Resonator. Usually I put Mechanized Production on the real Strionic Resonator & will fly through The Undercity in one turn.

I knew I wouldn't be the only one who spotted that! At 3:34 when he milled with Emry he definitely hit another Foundry Inspector which was quickly edited to a chaos warp. Shenanigans!
Gotta Love the 2 Foundry Inspectors in Max's Deck XD @ 3:33. Worth the like and reshare enough right there. Andrew how did that playout when that happened?
I know this is an old comment but my brother plays Alrund & uses Empyreal Plate & Hand of Vecna (both equipment that give Alrund +X/+X where X is his hand size. Pretty much doubling his power.
Hey not sure if anyone will see this but does mishras token copies have the same converted mana cost as the card they copy. My confusion comes from if they are a token with 0 cmc or a copy which duplicates the cmc of the copied card. I should look for a ruling or something but wondering if anyone knows. Thanks in advance if someone has a response.
Never mind after looking at rulings for mishra he does copy everything related to the card except for types, name, power, and toughness so even tho the copy is a token it keeps the original cards converted mana cost and thus makes sense for the plays in the game
Man, Alrund is so cool, I've put together an Alrund deck just because of the alt art version alone. I should rebuild it some day. And Mishra, I should put together a list for it, I didn't get the whole deck but I did get a few pieces and I had some since before. Btw muddstah if you're reading this, which vehicles did you include in your Shorikai list from amongst the warhammer 40k decks? Which does REALLY stand out and has performed well?
Great game, but why didn´t you ever attack with Eisenhorn? Most of the time, there was a player without any blockers. You would have gotten a lot of clues and even drawn 3-4 cards with Marneus Calegar.
