7.5g | 5% dendritic salt
3g | 2% colloidal oatmeal
0.015g | 0.01% purple water-soluble dye
6g | 4% Natrasorb
0.75g | 0.5% lavender essential oil
1.5g | 1% Polysorbate 80
116.24g | 77.49% Epsom salts
15g | 10% Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate (SLSa)

Hey Marie is there any way to make this recipe a tad more moisturizing? I love baths but have really dry skin and would love to make something that soothes and nourishes my skin as well as have the fun part of bubbles.
This product seems comparable to Aura Cacia Foam Bath powder however their formula contains jojoba oil which I’m assuming is for the conditioning properties. But I don’t just want to add that to the recipe because I don’t know how much or if it would make an oily mess in the tub.
What if I wanted make more than that amount ? Do we double the ingredients? And would the drying process be the same
how much of this to add to the bath?

This may be a silly question, but does the scent of the lavender essential oil not fade during the 2-3 day drying time?
It will fade a bit, but you really need to let the salts dry so you don't end up with a bath brick.

Can you leave out the colloidal outmeal? For those of us that have an oat allergy and if so, how would this affect the rest of the ingredients? Thanks!
You never want to just delete something from a formulation as that throws off the % of everything else, but you could replace it with a fine-grain sea salt. Happy making!

If we do not use (color) dye, does it still need to sit out to dry?
Yes; the dye is dry ;)
I am trying to work with with Epsom salt in a cream cleanser but can't seem to get it to work. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello. Is the product safe to inhale after the drying process?
Well... you aren't supposed to inhale it, and I wouldn't recommend it. It is, however, far less floaty when complete so you are unlikely to inhale it.

@@Lucien0131 I too am finding mixed information online about Polysorbate 80... really want to keep a natural, organic type line of ingredients that my customers don't have to worry about, nor I by listing its ingredient.
Would also like to know/understand more about this from Marie.
@@dvddks Marie has a veritable dictionary section on her website dedicated to ingredients... it's awesome! :) If it is possible and (she knows about) she would list any kind substitutions you could make with a certain product if it was not an option to use. Polysorbate 80 is necessary ingredient if you want to prevent color/ mica rings in your tub.
If going natural is your thing, you might want to take out the polysorbate and the coloring from the recipe altogether.
