Hi Tara! I'm not sure if you know, but in bath soaking items such as bath salts, bath bombs, or solid bubble baths, blue and green micas are not FDA approved and should not be used due to them being made with green oxide and ultramarine blue. These can release sulfurous compounds. For those colors, FD&C Lakes or Dyes should be used instead. I hope this helps for future videos. I love your content, and appreciate all you do for our maker community! :)

Please be aware that blue and green micas should not be used for things in which people will be soaking in, due to what they are made out of. For those colors, FD&C Lakes or Dyes should be used per their instructions. :)
Could you possibly do a leave on mask? Either for face or body ? I'm trying to figure out whether I should make mine more cream based or mask based but I would like to avoid a wash off :)

Do you think its okay to use the plastic bags if i am only making EO bath salts? I know i have heard that essential oils can eat threw/degrade plastic but i loveee how cute the bags look!
Yes I think it will be totally fine. You are using a very small amount of essential oil so I don’t think it will be a problem.
I have a question. When I looked up the blue mica safety, it said not it wasn't safe for bath bombs. I know this isn't a bath bomb but it is the same concept I was thinking of sitting in it. Am I not reading it correctly?

I meant for the first one a scale isn’t necessary cause I just mixed bath salts together. There was no essential oil fragrance oil or solubilizer. Trust me I make it very known on my channel how important it is to weigh everything. I also have a whole video all about how to make FDA compliment labels. If you are just making something for yourself it doesn’t need to be FDA compliment.
