Yes but.. UK houses are built to be Saunas because of colder winters 26c outside usually means mid 30's indoors and Nobody has air conditioning because until recently it was too cold a country. but lately its now getting to the point where 90%+ humidity and mid 30's temps are literally killing people. brick houses with a lot of insulation usually multi layered with triple glazed windows and heat trapping materials causes houses especially in direct sunlight to become unbearable. it's a wet sticky humid heat rather than a dry hot heat. India is obviously hotter there is no doubt, but the weather here has got to the point where people are not used to it and are under prepared for it. summer is a nightmare for me. hate it lol

Buyer Beware! I was seduced by the introductory pricing and purchased my Huawei MateBook X Pro (with MX150, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and 3,000 x 2,000 screen) in August 2018. I didn’t purchase the 1 year extended warranty because I have NEVER had a laptop fail (MAC or PC). Three weeks ago, it started taking longer to boot or I would have to press the power button more than once for it to power on. Two weeks ago it stopped booting. The power comes on and the fan comes on but after a few seconds, it powers down. Battery is fully charged. Now I have a nice looking brick.
Don't expect too much from Chinese companies 😉
@@radix904 more like Chinese manufacturing. Seems like Huawei has a bad manufacturer, or the buyer did something wrong.
Got mine in 2018 too. It’s been fine and has great battery life, but heats up and throttles quite quickly.
My 2018 model is still doing fine for now.

I bought the 2019 model last September (I had a nice deal in Switzerland) and I'm really happy with it. No issues so far, awesome screen, good battery life, nicely built and great portability; and I can work with Adobe apps like Illustrator or Photoshop. Great computer.

I understand it’s a laptop provided by the manufacturer but it’s shocking how one sided your review is. Literally 99% of the review only talks about the positives. No direct mention of CPU throttling (which clearly led to declining scores), a free pass to the horrible camera quality (by asking us how it is), no mention of the obvious design copy, trusting manufactures battery claim as is (should at least say what your experience was even though it’s not a full review), comparing bezels to MacBook etc but not the Dell XPS which is the direct comparison. Does it have windows hello? Did it run hot under load? Did you feel a performance hit on the CPU throttle? What’s the warranty service like vs Apple and Dell etc.?
I love your videos but they need to be more balanced.

Hawaii is trash I bought a matebook signature edition because it looked cool and TH-camers gave it great reviews and I needed a pc ...it had horrible battery life like 2 hours on a good day, the touchscreen was un responsive most the time to save battery, it was to thin to handle the hardware and no fan so it ran hot the whole time l,the screen was technically 3k but if you played a 1440p video it would lag sooo bad ,and the screen was all washed out looking I really wish people would stop taking sponsors from them . I don't really blame the youtubers but ... the company is trash
Screen also is reflective with nasty glare.
the dongle should bring a SD slot instead the VGA port! It would be perfect.

I have the 2018 Matebook X Pro, it's literally the best laptop in it's class, aside from the 2020 Matebook X Pro. Super under rated laptop.

Lol, it had a phone series starting with Mate first. So yeah it ‘copied’ Apple. It was the best Laptop in early 2019. Last time I checked, it ain’t MacBook.

If I am honest, the fact that you did not refer to the MacBook Pro 13" as a comparison by minute 8, makes me want to wait for the full review. It seems the video is a bit rushed to be out put and quite too positive for not being a full review, which might put you in a bind if you were to change your mind by the full review. Minor bit, in the glory color reproduction praise you gave it, I kept waiting for aRGB or DCI-P3, or DeltaE accuracy, again it seems to me the video is a bit rushed to be put out.

Daniel on the 28th I ordered a mac book pro 13" because my late 2011 mac book pro 17" is starting to crash on me. Apple told me they do not even repair it anymore. Im bombed to because my CS6 will not work on it when I get it.

Bravo Huawei for sending this excellent reviewer the Matebook. Always bought only Apple products, but many a time now, their arrogance turns me off. Maybe just here, but used to be that people thought Apple products were too expensive. Seems like the gap has closed somewhat or completely. Oftentimes though, might as well pay premium for quality that will last you longer, and with no issues over that period. All depending on one’s needs obviously.
