      After witcher 3 and zelda botw 2 on switch.i m done with switch and buy psp 5g.. but this psp 5g should support enhanced versions os ps1,ps2,ps3,psp and ps vita games. Hope it will be 6-7 inch 1080p display with custom arm architecture since arm is very easy and cost friendly 5g..

      Sony is in a great position too, since they see how well the switch has done. They can learn from the flaws of the switch too.

      @@IVSAKENSOUL Sony already failed to impress with ps vita and can't make a separate base for new psp5g all of a suddent but they can use ps3 and old console games to get an enhanced treatment and release it. If they release ps4 and ps5 streaming alone then sure psp5g sucks

    Man, I always thought that the PSP was way ahead of its time. It was actually comparable to traditional consoles at the time in my opinion. I’ve been holding off on buying a switch just because I’m not too big into the Nintendo exclusives, but THIS would be dope. Best PS5 companion ever.

      I miss my original psp. If the new one would support ps2 games, then I'd be set. They definitely are in a better position now that they can learn from the switch.

      True. I have a Note 10+, but hate playing games on my phone. I've emulated PSP on my phone too, but the general consumer probably doesn't utilize every feature of gaming like hard-core gamers do. A physical device fully dedicated for gaming just hits different, especially in a time where people watch Netflix while still using their phones 😂.

    I think psp 5g will play psp, ps1, ps2, ps vita, and ps3 games at remastered 1080p full settings (4 yr old switch playing ps3 games at 30fps locked, so this generation arm chip can able to play ps3 games as it is). It will also stream ps4 and ps5 games using 5g..

    • @IVSAKENSOUL
      @IVSAKENSOUL  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a pretty accurate assessment. Knowing about the chips using dlss makes it easier to run games at higher resolution/fps. The rumors of the next switch using it are a good indication of it being mainstream. I would be happy if it played ps2 and ps3 imo lol. My two favorites.

    • @SelvarajuManivannan06
      @SelvarajuManivannan06 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IVSAKENSOUL yeah sure.. dlss with tegra and virtual boost with arm both works in same way. I dont think sony going with tegra or nvidia chips since its damn costly and last gen. PSP 5G definitely will take advantage of arm 5g with virtual boost at 1080p high ppi(ps os is linux based, so easy for porting) and comes at 300 to 350usd price margin. But sony is not only the competitor for switch. GPD Win 3 is coming to put switch at sad, it runs rdr 2 at high settings @ 60fps at 720p..

      @IVSAKENSOUL  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      True, but luckily gamers are more tech savvy these days. We care about games, but also have an idea of the importance of features.

  • @nsgames24
    @nsgames24 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Honestly, I'd rather Sony just piss off from making handhelds mainly because of how they treated the PSvita. This is coming from someone who wasn't really into the PSvita, at all (even after playing it more than once, thanks to one of my brothers letting me play his a few times when the system first came out). The PSvita had potential to be Sony's early version of the Switch, but they completely dropped the ball on it and never even cared enough to pick it back up.
    The only major reason why I even have a PSvita, these days was because I didn't know what great games it actually had, aside from the same 10 - 20 games that everyone knows about that I always saw various TH-camrs mention when making a video about the system. So last year in 2019, I decided to research all the best games that the PSvita actually got and was very surprised by how many Hidden Gems it included in its library. It was also perfect timing since I got a job, around that time and eventually decided to buy one for myself and even a PlayStation TV since that was benefiting a charity. I even decided to compile all the best games into a single TH-cam playlist, which admittedly gave me a shock by how many folks actually viewed it.

    • @IVSAKENSOUL
      @IVSAKENSOUL  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I still want to pick up a Vita or PSP, but I'm holding out for a Switch Pro or a new PSP. I hope Sony attempts to make another handheld.

    • @nsgames24
      @nsgames24 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IVSAKENSOUL
      I can understand why some folks would want Sony to make another handheld, as I have both an original PSP and PSvita Slim and they're both awesome gaming devices, but I just feel because of how Sony treated the PSvita for the majority of its life on the market, especially when the PS4 hit the scene, Sony would be better just sticking with consoles.
      If they make another one, I guess it's cool, but they better not give up on it early in its lifespan because of slow sales, not wanting to advertise the product on TV, and no one wanting to buy tiny, yet overpriced Memory Cards.

    • @IVSAKENSOUL
      @IVSAKENSOUL  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They were doing a ton of proprietary stuff during that era, so I don't blame them. They needed to rebrand the PS3, and lost tons of money. Then the PS4 took off so fast that I bet they shifted all focus to their main money maker.
