Very well said Peggy. I agree that Dan's voice enhances this song but most songs as well. I am older but he has captivated me with his musical abilities and hard work ethic. I know his dad is smiling down at his son, sharing his gift of song with the world. We need his positive outlook to brighten up our spirits, and his heart to inspire us.
Amazing Grace is one of my favorite songs. I find myself humming it sometimes. When I heard Dan sing it I got goose bumps all over.

The harmonica Dan is playing has a special meaning to him. It was given to him as a child when he was nine years old by his father who unfortunately passed away six years ago. During that same year frustrated by the failed negotiations with multiple record companies and in grief by his father's death Dan decided he would himself build an audience for his work. So using his TH-cam Channel with only 4 thousand subscribers at the time he started to publish weekly videos of his vocal performances. He is now only 1.5k short of reaching 1 million subs and doing very well in his career.
I became a metal fan after listening to Dan Vasc's redition of Amazing Grace.
Even at the age of 66 it's never too late. 😄

I did the same thing! I never liked metal songs because I had young children and a loud husband when it became popular. It sounded like just noise and screams and I already had enough of that in my house! I never considered it to be a valid form of music. Then came along Dan"s Amazing Grace which was such a stunning vocal that I couldn't believe what I heard and played it again immediately. I was even more astounded and I was hooked on this new singer for all time!! Isn't it wonderful to have his musical genius to look forward to. Every new video is like a special gift. Loving every bit of my new fandom!! 🤩

Dan Vasc is the TOTAL PACKAGE!!! He's got the beautiful hair, dreamy eyes, handsome all over & with that absolutely gorgeous talented range in his wonderful voice! This man knows how to give me chills all over! I FELT every word & emotion of this song. I love how absolutely tender, raw & delicate he started the song even with the slight echo & with each verse exposing more talent & intensity. Dan Vasc has a God given talent that he has perfected over years of hard work into what it is today, devine & magnificent!!! He sang this song the way it was MEANT to be sung with such RESPECT, emotion & with a POWERFUL impact. I FELT the presence of GOD!!! EDIT: I just thought...you may want to listen to Dan's version of "Son of Pain." Before you listen, check out 1 Chronicles 4:9-10. The song itself is part of the Odyssey, which, in itself, is interesting. The way Dan sings it, with all of the passion he puts into it, is very, very powerful--especially if you connect it to the scripture.
Also, you will probably want to check out Dan's version of "For All," and be sure to watch the entire outro, during which he talks about his faith. 🥰

I'm a PK (Preacher's Kid) and have heard this performed, and performed it thousands of times throughout my 55 years. Dan ABSOLUTELY 💯 has the best rendition EVER! (Imho) He absolutely blows everyone else out of the park. I've listened to this since 3 weeks after he released it. Multiple times a day and it still gives me chills and moves me to tears. I truly believe that God ordained/inspired Dan to do this song "for such a time as this". When our world is in turmoil, despair, and more divided than ever. People are looking for hope and meaning, and nothing gives TRUE hope and meaning like God's amazing grace through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!! I feel like all of Heaven stood still when Dan performed this. I pray that every person who hears it will come to know Jesus as their LORD and Savior. Good thing he's Brazilian. Try and pull that move with the harmonica in the US, he'd gain 10 pounds in 10 seconds, all lead.
In order to have a relationship with anyone and/or God, you must communicate with that someone, including, and especially, God. Think out loud! Speak the words! Just have a little talk with God. He is listening. I must share from experience, the tough part is to listen...then be ready to act. Living in Glory is a real thing.....but it starts with YOU talking with God. Blessings
