- In the previous video we made instant lemon pickle recipe, which received good reviews and feedback, this one is a traditional and best way to make a lemon pickle. This pickle has better shelf life over the instant one and also tastes great.
My mom worked with an Indian lady while I was growing up; she would make this and give us a couple of jars every month. We ate it with so many things. When I think about it my mouth instantly waters 🤤 It’s an acquired taste that will forever remind me of my childhood.

Is 30 days to keep important??
Swayam Samparna Dash not really but if you follow the exact same receipe it will be more tasty I think😂I usually collect lemon left outs in saltwater and vinegar (after making lemon juice instead of throwing out). Keep it for like two weeks ( once the bottle is filled ) . All you have to make sure that it should be properly fried and cooked in the oil while making it ( as per the video ) Thanks

Man thanks for sharing this recipe. I have two doubts please clarify. How many lemons you have used and if we fill salt like that will it not become more or less. Or there is measurement of salt like 1/4 spoon or 1/2 spoon per lemon? Kindly clarify so that we will also enjoy this simple to make pickle. Thank you once again.

that was superb! thank you for this lovely recipe. will try it out one day! Can I also add some sugar to the pickle to blend in with the limes when they're cooking. I thought it would be lovely. I would if I had to soft dark brown sugar!
You should add sugar, i think.bcz in pickles we use sugar in Bangladesh. It makes pickle more tasty and balance the sourness and bitterness of lemon

Interesting idea, never tried it that way though so not sure how it would turn out.
I have my limes in a container but the juice hasn’t been enough to cover them. They have been in there for just over a week so far. Will they be okay if some aren’t covered?
With time you should get more juice and they will be okay
