Loved Madrid so much we actually ended up postponing our flight and coming back to spend a week in the city to explore during Pride Week :) Here are some additional recommendations of the places I loved Casa Gerado - my god their cheese and wine selection... Our daughter lives in Madrid so we have been there 5 times and you are right , the food is so friggin good it’s crazy. We love going to bar to bar trying all the different tapas. We are thinking of spending our winters in Madrid ( we are from Canada 🇨🇦) . Glad you loved Spain and can’t wait for your next video

In the south we divide snails in three: caracoles (tiny ones, boiled with spices), cabrillas (the ones you had) and burgajos (same way as cabrillas just bigger size)
I adore your content. And love how you manage to eat the greats and unknown at an authentic place and in the right manner when you travel. It really shows your food love and knowledge and it shows such a respect for the different culture. I Would love to know more on how you go about your research for your travels!
Oh, Dobby was in my city! glad you enjoyed it! you kept calling porras "puros", which was funny. Although, for the proper tapas experience/culture, I'd recommend Granada. You'll get a little plate with every drink you order, so you can eat all day long just with drinks.

Great video! Reminded me of my visit to Madrid. I was there for Pincho week, where we had a "passport ™ with stamps at participating tapas bars to experience their specialty for the event. It would be nice to see your videos in that event.

Not something I deal with, but apparently if you take something like Pepcid (famotadine) prior to drinking alcohol if you are prone to "Asian glow", it prevents it. Pretty interesting reason why. Pepcid is in a class of medications called H2 antagonist, which basically block histamine. Histamine is what causes the flushing when consuming alcohol. Seen a few different channels try it over the years, and it apparently works pretty well
It's almost a crime going to Madrid and not trying a bocadillo de calamares (camalary Sandwich) near plaça Reial. Btw love the recommendations and the Spanish series. ❤❤
Just watching this video since I'm madrileña but just one thing it's not buros o puros it's PORRAS. And something interesting it's that churros in another place of Spain are the porras and the churros are called lacitos (lil bows since it has it's form) Hope you had a great time here in Madrid, and hoping you come back for more in the future!
