Boy, that mine had everything! An extremely remote location, a classic entrance with a classic portico, open stopes, false floors, deep shafts, bats, and brilliant colors! Think you’ll go back and rappel down that one area that had a ladder in it?
Hey Frank! It did have all that you mentioned, except the ever elusive ore cart, which I still have yet to find in a mine. I am kicking myself after reviewing the footage for not roping down those winzes! There very well may have been other points of interest in there. I may have to go back...
@@ABANDONED_UNDERGROUND Yeah, that’s right - you’ve never found an ore cart yet. You will one of these times. Look how long it took me to find a ringtail cat! I don’t think I would’ve been able to cross that gap in the floor where you guys walked on that narrow ledge on the left-hand side. You’ll go back and rappel down that one laddered winze that you showed. Looked like a substantial tunnel down there going off perpendicularly. As soon as you entered that mine and looked up at the open stope, I was wondering right then and there if you were walking on a false floor. Those kinds of narrow, skinny stopes that break through to the surface always seem to have false floors in them where the stope continues underneath for a great distance. Like we saw in the Albert Mine.
