I am 70 years old and I have seen and heard a multitude of bands from hard rock to metal and I can say, without denigrating or criticizing the other bands, that these young women are the best I have seen and heard so far. 'nowadays. They are on another level than anything that has ever existed. What bothers me is that they are compared to bands from the past, whereas for 6 years they have proven themselves and they are now the ones who should serve as a point of reference. That said excellent reaction as usual.

As a fellow Rush fan of 45 years, you and I are on the same page. I watched your reactions to Clockwork Angels, in particular, The Garden. Before I go any further, as you’re relatively new to Lovebites, and reading between the lines, it seems that you are not aware that this is the debut of their recently recruited new bass player. The original left over a year ago and, after a 3 month audition process, they chose 20 year old Fami, a young lady with her own channel that has 10x the number of subscribers the band itself has. I’ll leave a link below. She is a breath of fresh air. She is bubbly, very creative, multi instrumental, has a great voice and is THE ingredient, along with impressive advances made by all the remaining members, that will hopefully propel Lovebites to the recognition that their craftsmanship deserves. Yes, craftsmanship, I don’t care either, and neither would the band I suspect. She looks destined to play bass in a very similar manner to Geddy, that is to say not as a backbone, not as an underpinning, but as a separate instrument. She uses it like a guitar, rather like Billy Sheehan. I’m festooned with Rush tattoos, but I’ll be honest (and I know how it may sound trite) but this is the only “band” I would rate higher than Rush. There are lots of reasons for that, many not musical, but it’s a conclusion I’ve come to over a two year period. Lovebites, for me are the *BEST* band of all time. I didn’t say *greatest* because that is a factor beyond their control, relying on popularity. I’m sure Neil would approve of Haruna’s drumming skills and yes, I guarantee you that she will play it perfectly live. Lovebites don’t lay down anything that they don’t think they can achieve live. Because by the time they lay it down, it’s perfected. Anything added is just decorative. I would love to see Lovebites do a cover of "Tom Sawyer". That would be epic! I have been into RUSH for a long time. I prefer their older stuff: Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving Pictures, that era. 2112 is also great. Power Windows has some great songs on it as well.

Fami, the new bass guitarist, is playing a "Bacchus WOODLINE5AC-HL Fami" and a "Freedom Rhino." The Bacchus is the headless one. It's gorgeous! I do believe the Rhino is a new one for her as it's black and, as far as I know, she hasn't played a black one before.
The members of Wolfpack(Fan club) highly recommend live videos. LOVEBITES is better with live videos than with music videos. In our experience, live videos outside of LOVEBITES have often not been as reproducible as music videos. However, since the release of the album, the girls have practiced and improved on some of the songs, and have recreated songs that would be impossible to recreate in a live performance. All are tight performances. LOVEBITES, now with a new bassist "Fami," will finally release its fourth original album "JUDGEMENT DAY" on February 22 next year.
