The toughest part of this exercise for me is lifting only my ring finger of my left hand while keeping the other fingers on the fret board. My middle finger wants to lift off too. Difficult!

+alanis dagas Yes, D'Addario makes ball end nylon strings but a guitar made for steel strings is better off with steel in my opinion

i hate the sneaky little things some teachers do on videos like this! like: not counting off, not slowing it down (reasonably) only playing the passage or part through once or twice quick so when you are learning it so you can’t play along to get the groove. no tabs?
