What do you do if you've been playing for over 3 years and only have a single piece at exactly 20 speed? It boggles my mind that this game has somehow popularized terms like "opener", "speed contest", "team compositions", etc when it has absolutely no right to. The player has zero control over any of it. The fastest unit I can build is a 272 speed Ran. The next fastest unit I can build is a 260 Kayron. I've tried "speed checking" (what a fucking joke this has become) all gear with 3 and 4 speed, even purple pieces with dead stats like flat health and effectiveness, to the point of routinely exhausting all of my gold and charms. Is account seeding actually a thing? Is my account seeded for Golem gear or something?
So obviously I can only play "bruiser" (sugar coated term for slow unit) with A Ravi, A Ras, LQC, etc, and warped "bulky" versions of units that are supposed to be built fast. After all 4 enemy units have taken their turns (1 to 2 taking 2 turns for 5 to 6 turns total), my team is now down to 1 to 3 units that are severely damaged and CC'd out of their minds. By the time the provokes and stuns and 1 turn increase/silence, etc have taken their effect the game is over (this is all in Gold btw). I wish I was joking.
