ACER TC-886 Boot Hang Issue *DIY FIRST FIX*

If your computer regularly powers on with the fans spinning, hangs and then doesn't POST try this.
This is for when your PC does eventually boot to Windows after several blank screen boot hangs. It is possible that your PC has developed different fault, but if you've checked Event Viewer and there's nothing then this should work.
It's not the CPU, RAM or the hard drive. The computer featured is an ACER TC-866 desktop running Windows 11 Home, but this fix should work for any machine with an enabled Optane drive that behaves in the same way.
Essentially, you disable the Optane drive cache function using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology program because this can prevent some updates from installing.
Let Windows do the update(s) and then enable it again to get the performance boost back.
As an extra for this PC, if you get a USB driver update error then you can use a tool to hide the update. If you can't find this then leave a comment and I'll help you.
