Great work, great skill and great video - as always! I get the coatings thing but I do love to see the waxing process and super finish… Thanks again and keep it up. 🙏 🖖
I enjoyed that :) I've ceramic coated my own car when I worked as a detailer. I also regretted it at times, because all I do now, with regards to detailing it, is wash it and detail the interior. I do have my wifes car, a Toyota Aygo, and I've polished it, and then waxed it with Autoglyms UHD wax, which is a very good substitute for their HD wax.
I do love having a coated car. I don't get a great deal of time to detail it and such so just being able to wash - dry it and it's done is great for me (good job it's only a Mini). I do really enjoy the process of stripping and trying waxes, though. Both definitely have their place, but for a hectic schedule, coatings suit me well 🤣
@@detailR Oh certainly, I wouldn't strip the coating just to get to wax my own car every so often :) Although I have more time for it now, there's no point in stripping the coating, just to replace it with a wax, that isn't as durable :) I like having my A6 be easy to clean and dry. I don't miss the long hours I had when I worked in detailing AT ALL :) (some days would be 12-14 hours), nor does my lower back 😊
