Thanks for doing this test, at the same time as we explained the max charge capability of the cars, we need to explain what is the max charge capability supply of the charger. But a good test and proves that electric vehicles need to have some extreme engineering when it comes to batteries and charging. And being able to handle such massive currents is impressive and scary at the same time.

I was so much waiting for the comparison with real time charging speed. We need to have chargers with real time charging speed in kW, it is cumbersome to always multiply volts x ampere to get real time data.
So does it mean that the byd has a better BMS just because it charges at a higher rate without ramping down? There could be other factors as well.. a tata type of ramping down the curve is better electronically due to our inconsistent power conditions imo

Tell me what happens when you fall asleep behind the wheels of a Tata car, driving on a highway at night at 90-100 kms/hr. In fact in any other car by Indian manufacturers. I think you know the answer. Besides, going on a long drive in EVs in India are full of anxiety. The infrastructure is all over the place: their software/ payment integration sucks. There are millions of charging apps with literally no route planning. The cars don’t talk to the chargers hence no in built router planners. Every time, I have to do all the back of the napkin calculations plus remain unsure “saala charger khaali bhi rahega kya? Charger chalu bhi rahega kya?” All this just kills the fun of owning an EV. Even globally, going on a long drive in a non-Tesla is usually challenging. I know Tata is doing great but that’s not enough. 😊 They have a long way to go in developing a great EV software and charging infrastructure and their integration. Its hard, Tesla aise hi nahi mara raha hai itne saalo se. Time, paisae aur passion lagta hai. Aise hi soch liya aur masters ho gaye EVs main. Engine nikaal ke, battery daal ke EV nahi ban jaata.. peace ✌️
