I was just diagnosed last Friday with it and what a shock. I'm 69 year old retired male, that also has heart disease and stage 3 copd. Talk about a triple whammy. I have already been contacted by my surgeon at Balboa in San Diego. Waiting to get my PET Scan and MRI in the next couple of weeks.
I am so sorry to hear about your sudden diagnosis - I remember waiting for scan results and how anxiety-inducing that could be. Thinking of you. -Stephanie
God Bless you I also served in Iraq. Army Vet myself I also experienced symptoms of pain in y legs when I was in Iraq. Leading me to today, I am now in the process of seeing a hematologist, which my VA doctor referred me. Stay Strong Sis!
Wow! This just came up in my feed. What a story of trial, tribulation and inspiration. It great this young lady had exceptional medical care. This story was 3yrs ago as per the date of video. I hope she is still alive and doing well. Such a beautiful soul! ❤
I was diagnosed with Ewing’s in my back muscle in 2012 at the age of 32. I am so fortunate to be here but I’ve lost so many friends to sarcomas 🎗 And thank you for your service!
I’ve watched probably close to a hundred of these videos and wow this story was so touching and the great detail she explained was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Brandi for sharing this story. Sending so much love and prayers to you and your family 💕
My mom has this rare cancer and it's been hard, but she feels good and looks good and has been eating healthy like a raw vegan diet (Idk if this helps) the thing that everyone seems to miss has faith I know you can see God but it really helps and I know that this cancer is rare but God got the final say so and he knows our time but he can also heal you from any sickness. Just pray hard and eat what the Bible tells you to eat and forgive and have a change of heart you never know what can happen. I want to pray for everyone and hope God delivers his children. I want everyone to stay as healthy as can be and remember there are people who also beat this thing anything is possible I want to start a prayer train, we can never have enough prayer.
First, thank you for your service. You are an inspiration and incredibly strong and beautiful. Do you never wonder why so many of you ended up with cancer?
I do wonder, my sister is suffering from sarcoma and she’s just 18. We don’t have any cancer history in my family. It’s really hard for us as we don’t have any financial capability to treat her. She’s just getting worse and worse by the day
I was on Doxorubicin as well as two others... I had three small boys at the time. And all the same systems. I had aggressive stage three BC and had a mastectomy. Did you have to take neupogen shots? I had my port put in my chest thru my heart. After chemo I had radiation.. it was rough. Hang in there sweetie! I also Served Our Country. Thank you for your service 🌹
Good news? IT'S GREAT NEWS. Nice to see you seem upbeat and determined to have meaningful endeavors in your life. Sending hope & positive thoughts your way, Paul! Your journey is remarkable. Thank you for sharing. Praying your pain will be better controlled soon! ❤
Thank you for your service! I have a leiomyosarcoma and I can totally relate to your story, especially the beginning when you were diagnosed, I felt the same way!!! I am doing treatment now and hoping they can remove it one day. ❤
I am also Ewing sarcoma Survivor which was diagnosed in 2022 and my treatment journey was 18 months. Now I am studying clinical medicine in Changsha Medical university..
Thank you for sharing your story Brandi...your simpy amazing!,So happy to hear your doing well now. And thank you so very much for your service❤.Much love to you.
I am a 6 year survivor of renal ewings sarcoma! I worry every day of its return I would love to find long term survivors like 20+ years. Anyone k ow of any as I can't find any 😔
Emma, first, so glad to hear you have been in the clear for six years! We are trying to build a community so people like you can connect with one another. If you're interested, you can join at thepatientstory.com. Sending hugs! -Stephanie
There are many 20+ year survivors. I know it can be hard to find them. Also, they say after 5 years in remission, the chances of it coming back are the same as someone who's never had it. You will stay healthy (:
Thank you so much for this video. I am just in the process and looking for how I can survive, menthally and physically. It is hard, and knowing there are more people fighting in a similar way is a help in the lonely moments. Best wishes
I have ewing sarcoma in my right ilium and a 1cm nodule in my lung, both of which are no longer showing on PET. I had 9 chemos and surgery in may, and now I wait for the high dose chemo. The road is long... Thanks for the contact
@@nadaradacic2244 Hi! I'm doing well, thanks. I received high dose chemo in December and it went as good as possible. Now I'm adjusting to the limitations derived from the surgery and I'm in check-ups every three months. Last CAT was clean too 👏👏 Long way, hard way, but deserves to be faced💪 Thanks for asking 🙂
Those military jabs everyone receives during bootcamp simply aren’t safe. Every member of my family that joined, stayed in or retired from the military has ended up with various forms of cancer. Pancreatic, Ovarian, Non smoking related lung cancer, prostate cancer, liver cancer, brain cancer…. The list goes on and on. Oddly enough they are the only people on either side of my family to have a diagnosis of cancer. There are coincidences and then there are just facts.
Where is the hospital located where she spent 10 months? In Germany? She says ward 71 was her home. Did she receive treatments and the surgery at a VA hospital?
You poor thing, I'm so happy it all worked out for you.❤ Thank you for your service honey!
Take care😊
What a courageous and strong young lady. I wish her all the best and a very long happy and healthy life. ❤

What an amazing story. Really shocked and upset me that the doctor said "you are the governments property"..... that's awful.
Thanks for your kind words to Brandi!
She was US Army. They literally own you. She is one of the brave
Omg and then her husband would cheat also during all this. This is heartbreaking😢 Thank you for your service❤

It’s distracting when you insert the picture instead of you. It’s inconsistent distraction.
